If non-existence is the nature of non-things, then why do you perceive the absence of aggregates as aggregates, the absence of sense bases as sense bases, and the absence of elements as elements? All these phenomena are born from the reversed dependent origination and are completely controlled by the ripening of karma. Why do you all perceive all phenomena as things when they are non-things? When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he skillfully liberates miserly beings from miserliness and leads them to the Perfection of Giving, so that the giving they have relinquished becomes the cause for them to obtain great enjoyment. He moves them from that and leads them to the Perfection of Morality, so that the morality they have rightly taken becomes the cause for them to be born in the heavens. He moves them from that and leads them to meditative concentration, so that the meditative concentration becomes the cause for them to be born in the Brahma realm. He moves them from that and leads them to the first dhyana, from the first dhyana to the second dhyana, from the second dhyana to the third dhyana, from the third dhyana to the fourth dhyana, from the fourth dhyana to the sphere of infinite space, from the sphere of infinite space to the sphere of infinite consciousness, from the sphere of infinite consciousness to the sphere of nothingness, from the sphere of nothingness to the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. He leads them from giving and the inferior result of giving in various ways, and finally places them in the realm of nirvana without remainder. He guides. He establishes. He leads them from morality and the result of morality in various ways, and finally places them in the realm of nirvana without remainder. He leads them from meditative concentration and the result of meditative concentration in various ways, and finally

Subjugate, guide. The four mindfulnesses, the four right exertions, the four legs of magical power, the five faculties, the five powers, the seven branches of enlightenment, the eightfold noble path, the four noble truths, the four dhyanas, the four immeasurables, the four formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings, the three doors of liberation, the various superknowledges, the various samadhis, the various dharani gates, the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great love, great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. Well established, extremely well established. Those uncontaminated dharmas, formless, invisible, unobstructed dharmas, whoever seeks the fruit of stream-entry, they are established in the fruit of stream-entry. Whoever seeks the fruit of once-returning, they are established in the fruit of once-returning. Whoever seeks the fruit of non-returning, they are established in the fruit of non-returning. Whoever seeks the fruit of Arhatship, they are established in Arhatship. Whoever seeks Pratyekabuddha enlightenment, they are established in Pratyekabuddha enlightenment. Whoever seeks unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, for them the path to enlightenment is spoken and shown, correctly encouraged, correctly praised, correctly made joyful, subjugated, guided, well established, extremely well established. Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, all dharmas should be established as like a dream, like an echo, like an illusion, like a transformation, like a mirage, like an image, without substance, without the nature of substance, and empty of their own nature. After the Blessed One had spoken thus, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, thus a Bodhisattva Mahasattva cultivates

When practicing this profound Prajñāpāramitā, all dharmas are of the nature of non-substantiality, all dharmas are beyond limits, they are emptiness, without beginning and without end, they are emptiness. These are virtuous dharmas. These are non-virtuous dharmas. These are worldly dharmas. These are transcendental dharmas. These are dharmas with faults. These are dharmas without faults. These are dharmas with outflows. These are dharmas without outflows. These are conditioned dharmas. These are unconditioned dharmas. These are the causes for attaining the fruit of stream-entry. These are the causes for attaining the fruit of once-returner, the fruit of non-returner, and the fruit of Arhat. These are the causes for attaining self-awakening. These are the causes for attaining unsurpassed, perfect and complete awakening. To distinguish these is wonderful, truly amazing dharmas. After this request, the Blessed One said to the venerable Subhuti: Subhuti, it is so, it is so.
