In each direction of the south, west, north, northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, and below and above, in immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable world realms, I can see all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who dwell there. Having seen those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, one obtains mindfulness of the Buddha. That mindfulness of the Buddha will not be interrupted until one manifests complete enlightenment in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. He hears the words spoken by those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, with a divine ear that surpasses human and divine abilities, and having heard them, he also remembers them. Having remembered them, he also makes diligent effort in the same way. Having made diligent effort in the same way, he also teaches the Dharma to sentient beings in the same way. He thoroughly understands the minds of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, by knowing the categories of mind. And also the minds of all noble Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and all sentient beings. He completely understands the minds of all sentient beings with his mind, and teaches the Dharma accordingly. He completely understands the previous roots of virtue of those sentient beings by knowing the recollection of previous lives, and also truly proclaims the roots of virtue to those sentient beings. He truly exhorts them. He truly praises them. He truly makes them rejoice. He knows the exhaustion of defilements. By knowing the exhaustion of defilements, he can place sentient beings in the three vehicles. He will place them. That Bodhisattva Mahasattva, practicing the Prajnaparamita, completely matures sentient beings with skillful means. He completely purifies the Buddha-field. Having completely perfected the all-knowingness of all aspects, he manifests complete enlightenment in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Having manifested complete enlightenment in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, he turns the wheel of Dharma. Having turned the wheel of Dharma, he completely liberates sentient beings from Samsara through the three vehicles. Subhuti, thus the Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita.

When practicing, one perfects the perfection of patience with a mind free from characteristics. Subhuti asked: World Honored One, how does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva perfect the perfection of diligence with dharmas that are without characteristics, without outflows, without effort, and without appearance when practicing the perfection of wisdom? The World Honored One said: Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the perfection of wisdom, from the initial generation of the mind with a mind free from characteristics, he possesses the diligence of the body and the diligence of the mind. He dwells in the diligence of the body, closely cultivating and dwelling in the first dhyana, and also closely cultivating and dwelling in the second dhyana, the third dhyana, and the fourth dhyana. Having attained samadhi in the fourth dhyana, he can manifest various supernormal powers. He touches the sun and moon with his hand, and freely travels to the Brahma world with his body. With such diligence of the body, by the power of supernormal abilities, in the immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable worlds of the ten directions, wherever there are Buddhas, World Honored Ones, abiding, dwelling, and teaching the Dharma, he goes to those places and offers clothing, food, bedding, medicine, and various necessities to those Buddhas, World Honored Ones. Those clothing, food, bedding, medicine, and various necessities will not be exhausted until he attains unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment. Having become a Buddha, he further brings happiness to the world of gods, humans, and asuras with clothing, food, bedding, medicine, and various necessities. Even after entering nirvana, his relics will receive countless offerings of relics. By the power of manifesting supernormal abilities, those Buddhas, World Honored Ones

Having gone to those places and listened to the Dharma, the Dharma thus heard will never be in vain until the attainment of unsurpassed, perfectly complete, and fully awakened enlightenment. They act in the knowledge of all aspects and also bring all sentient beings to maturity. They also take hold of the Buddha-fields. Subhuti, thus, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, with diligence of body in all dharmas that are without characteristics, without action, without object, without arising, and without manifest activity, they perfect the Perfection of Diligence. Subhuti, how does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva perfect the Perfection of Diligence with what kind of diligence of mind, associated with the noble, uncontaminated limb of the path? With diligence of mind, they do not open the occasion for unwholesome actions of body, they do not open the occasion for unwholesome actions of speech, they do not open the occasion for unwholesome actions of mind, whether it is called permanent or impermanent, pleasure or suffering, self or non-self, peaceful or unpeaceful, the desire realm, the form realm, the formless realm, the contaminated realm or the uncontaminated realm, the first dhyana, the second dhyana, the third dhyana, the fourth dhyana, loving-kindness, compassion, joy, equanimity, the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothing whatsoever, the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, the mindfulnesses, the perfect abandonments, the feet of miraculous power, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, the eightfold noble path, the noble truths, the dhyanas, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the liberations, the successive abidings, emptiness, or signlessness, or wishlessness, or clairvoyance, or samadhi.
