One should generate the four fearlessnesses, one should generate the four individual correct knowledges, one should generate great love and great compassion, one should generate the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha; this is the play of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. One should attain the state of all-knowingness; this is the play of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. One should abandon all the afflictions that connect with habitual tendencies; this is the play of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Therefore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva engages in the Prajnaparamita, he does not generate proliferation with regard to whether form is permanent or impermanent. He does not generate proliferation with regard to what is called pleasure and pain, self and no-self, peace and non-peace, what should be fully known and what should not be fully known. He does not generate proliferation with regard to whether feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness are permanent or impermanent. He does not generate proliferation with regard to what is called pleasure and pain, self and no-self, peace and non-peace, what should be fully known and what should not be fully known. He does not generate proliferation with regard to whether the sense bases, the elements, and dependent origination are permanent or impermanent, what is called pleasure and pain, self and no-self, peace and non-peace, what should be fully known and what should not be fully known. He does not generate proliferation with regard to all the perfections, all emptinesses, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, whether they are permanent or impermanent, what is called pleasure and pain, self and no-self, peace and non-peace, what should be fully known and what should not be fully known. With regard to the noble truths, the dhyanas, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the successively abiding absorptions, emptiness, signlessness, and wishless
