That which is called "having no doubt about Bodhi" is in accordance with the aspect of liberation that possesses mindfulness. What is the reason for this? O Blessed One, it is because the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, from the moment of first generating the mind, until attaining complete and perfect enlightenment, and by means of what attaining complete and perfect enlightenment, and in what place attaining complete and perfect enlightenment, whether it be form, feeling, perception, formations, or consciousness; similarly, the aggregates, the elements, the sense bases, dependent origination, or the limbs of dependent origination, or all the perfections, or all emptiness, or the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, or the noble truths, or the immeasurables, or the meditations, or the formless absorptions, or all the liberations, and the samadhis, the absorptions, the doors of dharani, or emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, or the higher knowledges, the ten powers, the fearlessnesses, the individual perfect knowledges, the unmixed qualities of a Buddha, and the omniscience itself, there is no clinging to any dharma. O Blessed One, a son or daughter of good family of the Bodhisattva vehicle, who is separated from the Perfection of Wisdom and separated from skillful means, they have no doubt about the unexcelled, perfect and complete enlightenment. What is the reason for this? O Blessed One, it is because those sons or daughters of good family of the Bodhisattva vehicle, being separated from the Perfection of Wisdom and skillful means, whatever generosity they give, they give it while clinging to signs. Similarly, whatever discipline they keep, whatever patience they cultivate, whatever diligence they exert, whatever meditation they enter into, whatever wisdom they analyze, they analyze it while clinging to signs, therefore, those sons or daughters of good family of the Bodhisattva vehicle have no doubt about the unexcelled, perfect and complete enlightenment. O Blessed One, therefore, the Bodhisattva

Aspiring to attain complete and perfect enlightenment, the supreme and perfect Bodhi, with great courage and without separation from the perfection of wisdom and skillful means, I will meditate. Abiding in the perfection of wisdom and skillful means, in a non-attached manner, with a mind possessing no characteristics, I will completely give. I will guard the precepts. I will cultivate patience. I will exert diligence. I will abide in meditative concentration. I will cultivate wisdom. With a mind possessing no characteristics, I will meditate on inner emptiness. I will meditate on the emptiness of the nature of non-things. With a mind possessing no characteristics, I will meditate on the mindfulnesses. Likewise, with a mind possessing no characteristics, I will meditate on the four right abandonments, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path. With a mind possessing no characteristics, I will enter into the immeasurables, the meditations, and the formless absorptions. With a mind possessing no characteristics, I will meditate on the noble truths. With a mind possessing no characteristics, I will meditate on all liberations, samadhis, absorptions, and the doors of dharani. With a mind possessing no characteristics, I will meditate on the superknowledges, the ten powers, the fearlessnesses, the separate perfect knowledges, and the unmixed qualities of the Buddha. With a mind possessing no characteristics, I will practice in all-knowingness, which is in accordance with the aspect of liberation that is the nature of samadhi. Then, the sons of the gods who dwell in the desire realm and the form realm asked the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, where does the Bodhisattva Mahasattva fully awaken to all dharmas in all aspects? Since these dharmas do not exist and are not visible, it is difficult for the supreme and perfect complete enlightenment to arise. Bhagavan, it is difficult to believe. Bhagavan

said: "Gods, it is so, it is so. Gods, it is difficult for the unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment to arise. Gods, it is difficult to believe. Gods, I also completely awakened to all dharmas in all ways, but I do not perceive any dharma by which I completely awaken, or by which I completely awaken, or which should be completely awakened. Why is that? Gods, all dharmas are extremely pure, which is said to be in accordance with the aspect of liberation that possesses the nature of wisdom." Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, as you said, 'Unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment is difficult to arise,' as I understand and think of the meaning of what the Blessed One said, Blessed One, it is not difficult to completely awaken to unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment. Why is that? Blessed One, it is like this, there is nothing that is completely awakened, there is nothing by which it is completely awakened, there is nothing that should be completely awakened. Blessed One, all dharmas are emptiness. In all dharmas emptiness, there is nothing that is completely awakened, there is nothing by which it is completely awakened, there is no such dharma that should be completely awakened. Why is that? Blessed One, it is like this, all dharmas are emptiness, for the sake of any dharma increasing or completely decreasing, giving alms completely, or keeping precepts, or practicing patience, or exerting effort, or meditating, or likewise, even up to the all-knowingness, those dharmas that should be practiced are also not there and are not perceived, any that is completely awakened, or by which it is completely awakened, or those dharmas that should be completely awakened are also emptiness. Blessed One, in this way, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva with unsurpassed perfect complete
