Therefore, from this perspective, the Perfection of Wisdom is what gives rise to the Tathagatas. Subhuti, thus, the Perfection of Wisdom is the teacher of the world. Subhuti, thus, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, has realized the Suchness of all dharmas. He has realized the Suchness that is without error, and the Suchness that is non-different. By which Suchness is one called the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One? Subhuti asked: World-Honored One, just as it is, the Suchness of all dharmas, the Suchness that is without error, and the Suchness that is non-different, these are profound. World-Honored One, by this Suchness, the Bodhi of the Buddhas, the World-Honored Ones, is shown. World-Honored One, here, who else would have faith, except for the irreversible Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, and those individuals with excellent views, and the Arhats who have exhausted the defilements? World-Honored One, from the time the Tathagata awakened to this Dharma until it was spoken, it is extremely profound. The World-Honored One said: Subhuti, thus, Suchness is inexhaustible. Why is it inexhaustible? Because all dharmas are inexhaustible, therefore Suchness is inexhaustible. Subhuti, Suchness is what the Tathagata has declared after fully awakening to Unsurpassed Perfect and Complete Enlightenment. Just as it is, the so-called Suchness of all dharmas is the realization of the Suchness of the Perfectly Awakened One, which is the most excellent declaration and establishment. Then, all the sons of the gods in the desire realm and form realm in this three-thousand great thousand world realm, holding celestial sandalwood powder, went to where the World-Honored One was, and having arrived, bowed to the two feet of the World-Honored One with their heads, and sat to one side. Having sat to one side, those sons of the gods in the desire realm and form realm said this to the World-Honored One: World-Honored One, the Perfection of Wisdom...

O sons of gods, if this profound Prajñāpāramitā is taught, O Bhagavan, what is the nature of Prajñāpāramitā? The Bhagavan said: O sons of gods, the nature of this profound Prajñāpāramitā is emptiness. O sons of gods, the nature of this profound Prajñāpāramitā is signlessness. O sons of gods, the nature of this profound Prajñāpāramitā is wishlessness, knowing emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. O sons of gods, the nature of this profound Prajñāpāramitā is unborn. Its nature is unceasing. Its nature is without affliction. Its nature is without purification. Its nature is without substance. Its nature is the nature of no self-nature, without reliance. Its nature is space. Its nature is impermanent. Its nature is without cessation. Its nature is without manifest action. Its nature is not a single meaning. Its nature is not diverse. Its nature is without going, that is, without nature. O sons of gods, although the nature of this profound Prajñāpāramitā is such, the Tathāgata establishes it in terms of worldly conventions, but it is not so in ultimate truth, knowing the unborn and unceasing, and so on. O sons of gods, these natures cannot be disturbed by the world with gods and asuras. Why is that? The world with gods, humans, and asuras also has the same nature. O sons of gods, those who do not disturb nature do not understand the nature of no-nature. Thus, who can understand nature and no-nature, and both nature and no-nature? It is impossible for anything to be understood, knowing that the nature of phenomena is undisturbed. O sons of gods, these natures are not made by form. Similarly, they are not made by feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness. They are not made by elements. They are not made by sense sources. They are not made by dependent origination.

Not conditioned by arising. Not conditioned by the perfection of generosity. Not conditioned by the perfection of ethics. Not conditioned by the perfection of patience. Not conditioned by the perfection of diligence. Not conditioned by the perfection of meditation. Not conditioned by the perfection of wisdom. Not conditioned by all emptiness. Not conditioned by the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. Not conditioned by the noble truths. Not conditioned by the immeasurables, meditations, formless absorptions, eight liberations, and nine successive abidings. Not conditioned by emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. Not conditioned by clairvoyance. Not conditioned by all samadhis. Not conditioned by all dharani gates. Not conditioned by the powers of the Tathagata. Not conditioned by fearlessness, individual exact knowledge, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. Not conditioned by the all-knowingness. This is the wisdom of non-manifesting intention. Sons of the gods, are those characteristics human? Non-human? Tainted? Untainted? Worldly? Beyond worldly? Conditioned? Or unconditioned? Then, the Bhagavan addressed those sons of the gods who dwell in desire and form, saying: Sons of the gods, if someone were to say, 'What is the characteristic of space?' would they be speaking correctly? The sons of the gods replied: Bhagavan, they would not be speaking correctly. Why is that? Bhagavan, because the element of space is unconditioned, there is not even a little characteristic of space. This is known as non-conceptual wisdom. The Bhagavan said: Sons of the gods, whether the Tathagatas appear or not, this realm of Dharma abides.
