Thus, with regard to a mind with desire, he fully knows, as it really is, that it is a mind with desire. Thus, with regard to a mind with hatred, he fully knows, as it really is, that it is a mind with hatred. Thus, with regard to a mind with delusion, he fully knows, as it really is, that it is a mind with delusion. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, whatever is the mind's desire, hatred, and delusion, that is not the mind's reality. Why is that? Subhuti, a mind that has become reality as it is has no object, and the dharmas that are purified from the mind also have no object. What need is there to mention a mind with desire, a mind with hatred, or a mind with delusion as an object? Subhuti, thus, the Tathagata relies on this perfection of wisdom, and fully knows, as it really is, that the minds of those beings with desire are minds with desire, fully knows, as it really is, that the minds with hatred are minds with hatred, and fully knows, as it really is, that the minds with delusion are minds with delusion. Subhuti, how does the Tathagata fully know, as it really is, that the minds of those beings without desire are minds without desire, without hatred are minds without hatred, and without delusion are minds without delusion? Subhuti, whatever is the mind's freedom from desire is not the mind's possession of desire. Why is that? Because the two minds do not accompany each other and do not come into contact. Subhuti, thus, whatever is the mind's freedom from hatred is not the mind's possession of hatred. Subhuti, whatever is the mind's freedom from delusion is not the mind's possession of delusion. Why is that? Subhuti, because in this way, from a vast mind to not going, the nature of it is without essence.

And, if asked, how does the Tathagata truly know that the minds of other beings and persons have become vast, and are called having become vast? Subhuti, here, the Tathagata does not truly observe the coming, going, birth, cessation, abiding, and transformation of those minds of other beings and persons. Why is that? Subhuti, because in those minds, there is no inherent nature of coming, going, birth, cessation, abiding, or transformation. Subhuti, thus, relying on this Prajnaparamita, the Tathagata truly knows that the minds of other beings and persons have become vast, and are called having become vast, which is knowing that the mind has become vast. Subhuti, furthermore, relying on this Prajnaparamita, the Tathagata truly knows that the minds of other beings and persons are immeasurable, and are called the mind is immeasurable. Subhuti, if asked, how does the Tathagata, relying on this Prajnaparamita, truly know that the minds of other beings and persons are immeasurable, and are called the mind is immeasurable? Subhuti, here, the Tathagata does not truly observe the complete abiding, complete non-abiding, incomplete abiding, and incomplete non-abiding of the minds of other beings and persons. Why is that? Subhuti, the continuum of the mind is without support and immeasurable, because those places where it will abide are without support. Subhuti, thus, relying on this Prajnaparamita, the Tathagata truly knows that the minds of other beings and persons are immeasurable, and are called the mind is immeasurable, which is knowing that the mind is immeasurable. Subhuti, furthermore, the Tathagata
