, and without cessation, and without all afflictions, and without purification, therefore the Perfection of Wisdom is completely pure. Subhuti asked: World Honored One, how is it that all dharmas are without arising, and without cessation, and without all afflictions, and without purification, that the Perfection of Wisdom is completely pure? The World Honored One said: From form to all-knowingness, because of extreme purity, the Perfection of Wisdom is completely pure, which is called the forbearance of knowing after cessation. Subhuti asked: World Honored One, if any son of good family or daughter of good family holds this Perfection of Wisdom, and recites it, and fully understands it, and properly attends to it, World Honored One, that person will not develop eye diseases, ear diseases, nose diseases, tongue diseases, body diseases, and mind diseases, nor will they be incomplete in limbs, nor will their body age and become decrepit. That son of good family or daughter of good family will pass away after abandoning discomfort. For the sake of hearing the Dharma, many thousands of gods will also follow him in the same way. The gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, and the gods up to the Pure Abode heavens, will also follow him in the same way. Wherever the son of good family or daughter of good family who speaks the Dharma teaches this Perfection of Wisdom, there will be a great gathering of gods on the eighth, fourteenth, and fifteenth days of each month. That son of good family or daughter of good family, when teaching this Perfection of Wisdom, will greatly increase their merit, and the merit will be immeasurable, countless, unmeasurable, inconceivable, incomparable, and will greatly increase. The World Honored One said: Subhuti, it is so, it is so. If any son of good family or daughter of good family teaches this Perfection of Wisdom to the assembly of gods on the eighth, fourteenth, and fifteenth days, their merit will be immeasurable.

Pa. Innumerable, immeasurable, inconceivable, unequaled, exceedingly increasing. Subhuti, why is that? It is because this Perfection of Wisdom is the great king of jewels. This is known after cessation. Subhuti, if someone teaches this great king of jewels, the Perfection of Wisdom, then they will be completely liberated from hell. They will be completely liberated from the realm of animals. They will be completely liberated from the world of Yama. They will be completely liberated from poverty. They will be born into a great and wealthy Kshatriya family. They will be born into a great and wealthy Brahmin family. They will be born into a great and wealthy householder family. They will be born among the gods of the Four Great Kings. They will be born among the gods up to the realm of neither perception nor non-perception. This Perfection of Wisdom bestows the fruit of stream-entry. The fruit of once-returner, the fruit of non-returner, Arhatship, solitary enlightenment, and even unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment are also bestowed. This is because the Perfection of Wisdom reveals the path of the ten virtuous actions. By training in it, there are great and wealthy Kshatriya families. There are great and wealthy Brahmin families. There are great and wealthy householder families. There are the gods of the Four Great Kings, the Thirty-three, the Yamas, the Tushitas, the Nirmāṇarati, and the Paranirmita-vaśavartin gods. There are the gods of the Brahma host. There are the gods of Brahma's retinue. There are the Great Brahma gods. There are the gods of limited light. There are the gods of immeasurable light. There are the gods of clear light. There are the gods of limited virtue. There are the gods of immeasurable virtue. There are the gods of increasing virtue. There are the gods without clouds. There are the gods of increasing merit. There are the gods of great fruit. There are the gods of the Pure Abodes.
