Manifesting all roots of virtue, until the attainment of omniscience, and rejoicing in and dedicating all the roots of virtue planted by gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, and humans and non-humans. How to dedicate? It is to dedicate those roots of virtue to unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment. Subhuti said: Like this, a son or daughter of a great vehicle lineage, practicing the perfection of wisdom, thinking that this is not what the Tathagata said, should dedicate in this way: Just as the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfect Buddhas, with unsurpassed Buddha wisdom, know the type, nature, characteristics, and the dharma nature of existence of those roots of virtue, so do I rejoice. Just as those Buddhas, Bhagavad-ones, have realized, so do I dedicate it to unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment. Like this, a son or daughter of a great vehicle lineage should dedicate those roots of virtue to unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment. Dedicating in this way is not something not spoken by the Tathagata, but speaking as the Tathagata spoke, speaking according to the Dharma. Thus, the dedication of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is non-toxic, and this is the dedication approved by the Buddha. Furthermore, a son or daughter of a lineage who has correctly entered the Great Vehicle, when practicing the perfection of wisdom, should dedicate these roots of virtue in this way: Like the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, similarly, feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness, outside of the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, the realms and the sources,

Liberation, and the wisdom of seeing liberation, and omniscience, and the nature of the Dharma without forgetfulness, and constantly abiding in equanimity, not belonging to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm; whatever does not belong to these is not past, not future, not present. Why is that? Because just as those do not belong, similarly, dedication also does not belong. The Dharma in which one dedicates also does not belong, and what is dedicated also does not belong. Those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, also do not belong to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm. Their roots of virtue also do not belong to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm. Those Hearers and Solitary Buddhas also do not belong to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm. Their roots of virtue also do not belong to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm. Whatever does not belong to these is not past, not future, not present. If a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, whatever form there is does not belong to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm. Similarly, feeling, perception, formations, and whatever consciousness there is does not belong to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm. Similarly, the realms, the sources, and the limbs of dependent origination do not belong to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm. If a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, whatever form does not belong to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm, that is not past, not future, not present. That cannot be dedicated in the manner of a sign or in the manner of an object. Why is that? Because there is no inherent existence in that. Whatever has no inherent existence is no thing; no thing cannot be dedicated by no thing. Similarly
