The endowed son of Maitreya, the Venerable Mahakashyapa, and hundreds of thousands of billions of sons of gods said to the Venerable Subhuti: 'Venerable Subhuti, who will be able to accept this Prajnaparamita, which is so profound, so inconceivable, so beyond the realm of thought, so subtle, so refined, so difficult to see, so difficult to realize, so rich, so exceedingly excellent and powerful, so knowable only by the wise and virtuous?' Then, the Venerable Subhuti said to those great Shravakas and sons of gods: 'Venerable ones, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who are irreversible, or those who have seen the truth, or those Arhats who have exhausted the outflows and whose minds are completely fulfilled, or those who have done what needs to be done for the Buddhas of the past, or those who have generated roots of virtue in many billions of Buddhas, or those sons or daughters of good families who are completely embraced by virtuous friends, will be able to accept this Prajnaparamita, which is so profound, so inconceivable, so beyond the realm of thought, so subtle, so refined, so difficult to see, so difficult to realize, so rich, so exceedingly excellent and powerful, so knowable only by the wise and virtuous.' 'Those who can accept this Prajnaparamita, which is so profound, so inconceivable, so beyond the realm of thought, so subtle, so refined, so difficult to see, so difficult to realize, so rich, so exceedingly excellent and powerful, so knowable only by the wise and virtuous, will certainly not conceive of form as empty. Nor will they conceive of emptiness as form.' 'Feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are empty, and they will not conceive of emptiness as consciousness.' 'Form characteristic'
