There is none in the earth. There is no designation of consciousness. There is none in the sources of birth. There is none in the realms. There is no designation of dependent arising. There is no designation of the perfections. There is no designation of the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. There are no immeasurables, meditations, formless absorptions, and all emptiness. There is no all samadhi. There is no all dharani gate. There is none in the powers of the Thus Gone One. There is none in the fearlessnesses. There is none in the individual correct knowledges. There is no designation of the eighteen unmixed dharmas of the Buddha. In this teaching of the Dharma, there is no designation of the fruit of stream-entry. There is none in the fruit of once-returning and the fruit of non-returning. There is no Arhatship. There is none in the solitary awakened bodhisattvas. There is no designation of enlightenment. There is no designation of letters, so he thought. Then the venerable Subhuti said this to those sons of the gods: Sons of the gods, it is so, it is so. It is so, it is so, the enlightenment of the Thus Gone One is unspeakable. It is inexpressible. It is not shown by anyone. It is not heard by anyone. It is not known by anyone. Sons of the gods, therefore, if one wishes to abide in the fruit of stream-entry, and if one wishes to realize the fruit of stream-entry, one should not take this patience as an object of focus. If one wishes to abide in the fruit of once-returning, the fruit of non-returning, and Arhatship, and if one wishes to abide in solitary awakened enlightenment, and if one wishes to attain solitary awakened enlightenment, one should not take this patience as an object of focus. Sons of the gods, thus, from the time a Bodhisattva Mahasattva generates the first thought until speech and taking hold of the unequaled, one should abide in the Perfection of Wisdom, which is the teaching of abandoning the conceptions taken by the solitary awakened ones. Then those sons of the gods thought: How should one seek those who listen to the Dharma at the place of the venerable Subhuti? Then the venerable Subhuti knew the

Having fully understood the aspects of mind with the mind, he spoke thus to those gods: "Gods, listening to the Dharma by me is like an illusion; Gods, listening to the Dharma by me should be sought as if it were an emanation. Therefore, there is nothing to be heard, nor is there anything to be manifested." Thereafter, those gods said to the venerable Subhuti: "Venerable Subhuti, why are beings like illusions? Is listening to them also like an illusion? Are those beings like emanations, and is listening to the Dharma by them also like emanations?" Subhuti said: "Gods, it is so, it is so. Those beings are like illusions, and listening to the Dharma by them is also like illusions. Those beings are like emanations, and listening to the Dharma by them is also like emanations." "Gods, form is also like a dream, like an illusion. Gods, feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness are also like a dream, like an illusion." "Gods, the eye is also like a dream, like an illusion. Likewise, the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind are also like a dream, like an illusion. Likewise, sound, smell, taste, touch, Gods, Dharma is also like a dream, like an illusion." "Eye consciousness, eye contact, and the feeling born from eye contact are also like a dream, like an illusion. Likewise, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind consciousness, mind contact, and the feeling born from mind contact are also like a dream, like an illusion." "Generosity, the perfection of generosity, is also like a dream, like an illusion. Likewise, the perfection of ethics, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom are also like a dream, like an illusion." "Likewise, inner emptiness, outer emptiness, inner-outer emptiness, up to the emptiness of the essence of non-things, are also like a dream, like an illusion. Mindfulness, etc."

Also like a dream, like an illusion. Similarly, the right abandonments, the feet of miracles, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, the noble eightfold path, the immeasurable, the meditations, the formless absorptions, the superknowledges, the truths, the powers, the fearlessnesses, the individual correct knowledges, and even the eighteen unmixed qualities of the Buddha are also like a dream, like an illusion. The fruit of stream-entry is also like a dream, like an illusion. Stream-entry is also like a dream, like an illusion. Similarly, the fruit of once-returning, once-returning, the fruit of non-returning, non-returning, the fruit of Arhatship, Arhatship are also like a dream, like an illusion. Solitary enlightenment itself is also like a dream, like an illusion. Solitary enlightenment is also like a dream, like an illusion. The Bodhisattva himself is also like a dream, like an illusion. The Bodhisattva is also like a dream, like an illusion. Unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment itself is also like a dream, like an illusion. The Buddha is also like a dream, like an illusion. Then, those gods said to the venerable Subhuti: Venerable Subhuti, is enlightenment also said to be like a dream, like an illusion? Is Nirvana also said to be like a dream, like an illusion? Subhuti said: Gods, I say that Nirvana is also like a dream, like an illusion. If there were another dharma more excellent than Nirvana, I would also say that it is like a dream, like an illusion. Why is that? Gods, thus, like a dream, like an illusion, and Nirvana are non-dual and indivisible, which shows that the solitary Buddhas have abandoned the conceptualizations of clinging. Then, the venerable Shariputra, the venerable great Maudgalyayana, the venerable great Kaushtila, the venerable great Katyayaniputra,
