As action, and as that which is called having signs, and as that which is called without signs, and as that which is called having aspirations, and as that which is called without aspirations, one should not abide. Kauśika! Furthermore, one should not abide by way of focusing on the fruit of stream-entry as something imputed from the uncompounded. Likewise, one should not abide by way of focusing on the fruit of once-returner, and the fruit of non-returner, and arhatship itself, and self-awakening as something imputed from the uncompounded. One should not abide by way of focusing on self-awakened Buddha himself as something imputed from the uncompounded. One should not abide by way of focusing on stream-enterer as a place of giving. Likewise, one should not abide by way of focusing on once-returner, and non-returner, and arhatship itself, and self-awakening, and the Thus-Gone One as a place of giving, which belongs to patience. Kauśika! Furthermore, a bodhisattva mahasattva should not abide by way of focusing on the first ground. One should not abide by way of focusing on the second ground, and the third ground, and the fourth ground, and the fifth ground, and the sixth ground, and the seventh ground, and the eighth ground, and the ninth ground, and the tenth ground. One should not abide by way of focusing on abiding in generating the first mind, thereby perfecting the perfection of giving. Likewise, one should not abide by way of focusing on perfecting the perfection of discipline, and the perfection of patience, and the perfection of diligence, and the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom. Likewise, one should not abide by way of focusing on perfecting the mindfulnesses, and the correct abandonments, and the legs of magical power, and the faculties, and the powers, and the limbs of awakening, and the paths. A bodhisattva mahasattva should not abide by way of focusing on entering the faultless bodhisattva path. Having entered the faultless bodhisattva path, in order to abide on the irreversible ground, one should not abide in that way by way of focusing on that. A bodhisattva mahasattva

One should not abide in the manner of aiming to perfect the five supernormal knowledges. Bodhisattvas abide in the five supernormal knowledges, and in order to behold the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, to pay homage, to make offerings, to attend and revere, to listen to the Dharma, and having heard it, to teach it to others, they go to immeasurable, countless, and limitless Buddha-fields. Thus, Bodhisattvas, great beings, should not abide in the manner of aiming. Bodhisattvas, great beings, should accomplish the Buddha-fields of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, in such a way that they are unmixed, and should not abide in the manner of aiming. One should fully ripen all sentient beings in the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Thus, Bodhisattvas, great beings, should not abide in the manner of aiming. Having gone to immeasurable and countless world realms, one should attend, revere, respect, and make offerings to the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the perfectly and completely enlightened Buddhas with many flowers, incense, perfumes, garlands, unguents, powders, religious robes, umbrellas, banners, and flags. One should also make offerings to those Tathagatas with countless hundreds of thousands of millions of robes. Thus, one should not abide in the manner of aiming. One should establish immeasurable and countless sentient beings in the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and one should not abide in the manner of aiming. One should not abide in the manner of aiming to accomplish the five eyes, namely, the eye of flesh, the divine eye, the eye of wisdom, the eye of Dharma, and the eye of the Buddha. One should not abide in the manner of aiming. One should not abide in the manner of aiming to perfect all samadhis. One should play with whatever samadhi one desires to play with, and one should not abide in the manner of aiming. One should not abide in the manner of aiming to perfect all the doors of dharani. One should perfect the immeasurable,
