།ཀཽ་ཤི་ཀ་སྟོང་གསུམ་གྱི་སྟོང་ཆེན་པོའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ་དཔེར་ན། འདམ་བུའི་ཚལ་ལམ། འོད་མའི་ཚལ་ལམ། བུ་རམ་ཤིང་གི་ཚལ་ལམ། སྨྱིག་མའི་ཚལ་ལམ། འབྲས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་ངམ། ཏིལ་གྱི་ཞིང་བཞིན་དུ་ཉན་ཐོས་དང༌། Relying on the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the paths of the ten virtuous actions will appear in the world. The immeasurable ones, the meditations, the formless absorptions, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the truths, the superknowledges, all emptiness, all samadhis, all dharani gates will appear in the world. If there is a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the ten powers, the fearlessnesses, the individual perfect knowledges, the unmixed qualities of the Buddha, the omniscience itself will appear in the world. Relying on the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the great Salakshatriyas, the great Salabrahmanas, the great Salagrihapatis will be established in the world. The Chakravartin king will be well established in the world. The sons of the gods of the four great king's retinues, and the sons of the gods up to Akanishta, will be well established in the world. The fruit of stream-entry and the stream-enterer, similarly, the fruit of once-returner and the once-returner, the fruit of non-returner and the non-returner, the Arhat and the Arhat will be well established in the world. Whoever thinks of attending to, treating as a guru, treating as a place of respect, and making offerings to this Perfection of Wisdom, that is attending to a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva. Therefore, the world with gods, humans, and asuras should attend to a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva. One should always and continuously protect, conceal, and rescue it. Kauśika! For example, this three-thousand great thousand world realm is filled with Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, like a reed forest, a sugarcane forest, a sugar tree forest, a bamboo forest, a rice field, or a sesame field. If any son or daughter of good family attends to, treats as a guru, treats as a place of respect, and makes offerings to them, compared to that, if one attends to, treats as a guru, treats as a place of respect, and makes offerings to a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva who has generated the first thought and is inseparable from the six perfections, then their merit will increase even more. Why is that? Because, Kauśika! It is not by relying on those Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas that Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas and Tathāgata-Arhat-Samyaksambuddhas are established in the world, but it is by relying on Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas that all Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas and Tathāgata-Arhat-Samyaksambuddhas are established in the world. Kauśika! Therefore, the world with gods, humans, and asuras should attend to, treat as a guru, treat as a place of respect, and make offerings to a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva.
