is to know the Dharma of arising. Then, those gods said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, this Perfection of Wisdom of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas is the way of not taking and not abandoning form, and likewise the separate and the aggregated aggregates, and the elements, and the sense bases, and the dependent origination, and the perfections, and the mindfulness, and the right abandonments, and the miraculous feet, and the faculties, and the powers, and the limbs of enlightenment, and the path, and the immeasurables, and the meditations, and the formless absorptions, and the truths, and the superknowledges, and all emptiness, and all samādhis, and all the doors of dhāraṇī, and the ten powers, and the fearlessnesses, and the separate correct knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, up to all-knowingness, by the way of not taking and not abandoning, to hold in accordance with all-knowingness is very wonderful!" Then, the Blessed One, having established the fourfold assembly of monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen, and the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, and the Four Great Kings, and the sons of the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, and the sons of the gods up to Akanishtha, having gathered and assembled, spoke to Indra, the lord of the gods: "Kauśika, whether a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, or a monk, or a nun, or a layman, or a laywoman, or a son of good family, or a daughter of good family, or a son of the gods, or a daughter of the gods, whoever holds this Perfection of Wisdom, or explains it, or recites it, or comprehends it, or meditates on it, or extensively and correctly illuminates it to others, or properly attends to it, and whoever does not separate from the mind of all-knowingness, those will not be taken advantage of by the demons or the gods of the retinue of the demons. Why is that?

Then, just like this, sons of good family and daughters of good family will abide well in the emptiness of form. Likewise, feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness will abide well in emptiness. Why is that? It is because emptiness does not find fault in emptiness, signlessness does not find fault in signlessness, wishlessness does not find fault in wishlessness. Similarly, sons of good family or daughters of good family will abide well in the emptiness of the aggregates, elements, sense sources, and dependent origination. They will abide well in the emptiness of the perfections, the truths, the superknowledges, the immeasurables, the meditations, and the formless attainments. Likewise, all emptinesses, all samādhis, all dhāraṇī gates, the mindfulnesses, the perfect abandonments, the miraculous legs, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the paths will abide well in emptiness. Similarly, the ten powers, the fearlessnesses, the separate perfect knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha will abide well. Up to all-knowingness, they will abide well in emptiness. Why is that? It is because emptiness does not find fault in emptiness, signlessness does not find fault in signlessness, wishlessness does not find fault in wishlessness. Why is that? It is because whoever might find fault, wherever fault might be found, and in whatever fault might be found, the very nature of those things does not exist. This is called the acceptance of knowing in accordance with the arising. Kauśika, furthermore, sons of good family or daughters of good family will not be found fault with by humans or non-humans. Why is that? It is because those sons of good family or daughters of good family, in a non-apprehending manner, for the sake of all sentient beings, greatly

It is for the sake of meditating. Those sons of good family and daughters of good family will not die without abandoning fear. Why is that? It is because those sons of good family or daughters of good family who practice the perfection of generosity have properly and respectfully served all sentient beings in the correct order. Kausika, whoever among the gods of the four great kings' retinue in this great trichiliocosm, or the thirty-three, or the Yama, or the Tushita, or the Nirmāṇarati, or the Paranirmita-vaśavartin, or the Brahma retinue, or the Brahma attendants, or the Brahma assembly, or up to the sons of gods of Akanishtha, who have generated the mind for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and whichever sons of gods have not heard, not grasped, not held, not recited, not fully understood, and not properly attended to this Perfection of Wisdom, they should also listen to this Perfection of Wisdom, should grasp it, should hold it, should recite it, should fully understand it, should properly attend to it, and should not be separated from the mind of all-knowingness. This is knowing in accordance with all arising. Kausika, furthermore, whichever son of good family or daughter of good family who holds and keeps, recites and fully understands this Perfection of Wisdom, and properly attends to it, and is not separated from the mind of all-knowingness, those sons of good family or daughters of good family, Kausika, even if they dwell in an empty house, or dwell in a place without shelter, or dwell in a lost path, they will not become afraid or terrified. Why is that? It is because those sons of good family and daughters of good family have diligently meditated on the emptiness of inner emptiness in a way that does not focus on it, have diligently meditated on the emptiness of outer emptiness in a way that does not focus on it, have diligently meditated on the emptiness of inner and outer emptiness in a way that does not focus on it, up to diligently meditating on the emptiness of the nature of non-things in a way that does not focus on it. Then, at that time, the trichiliocosm of…
