The ear and the nose and the tongue and the body and the mind are not manifestly assembled. Why is that? Like this, because they do not have a manifest assembler. Venerable Shariputra, form is not manifestly assembled. Why is that? Like this, because they do not have a manifest assembler. Sound and smell and taste and touch and dharma are not manifestly assembled. Why is that? Like this, because they do not have a manifest assembler. Venerable Shariputra, eye consciousness is not manifestly assembled. Why is that? Like this, because they do not have a manifest assembler. Ear consciousness and nose consciousness and tongue consciousness and body consciousness and mind consciousness are not manifestly assembled. Why is that? Like this, because they do not have a manifest assembler. Venerable Shariputra, among all dharmas, there is no manifest assembly. Why is that? Like this, because they do not have a manifest assembler. Venerable Shariputra, by those names, form and feeling and perception and formations and consciousness are not manifestly established. Venerable Shariputra, if someone says this: 'Why is it that what Venerable Subhuti has not manifestly established is not form, not feeling and perception and formations and consciousness?' Thus he speaks. Venerable Shariputra, it is just so. Why is that? Like this, Venerable Shariputra, form is empty of inherent existence. Whatever is empty of inherent existence, for it there is no birth and no cessation. Whatever has no birth and no cessation, for it there is no change from abiding. Feeling and perception and formations and consciousness are empty of inherent existence. Whatever is empty of inherent existence, for it there is no birth and no cessation. Whatever has no birth and no cessation, for it there is no change from abiding. Likewise, until among all dharmas, there is emptiness of inherent existence. Whatever is empty of inherent existence, for them there is no birth and no cessation.

That which has no birth and no destruction, for it there is no change other than abiding. Shariputra, therefore, whatever is unattainable is not form, not feeling, not perception, not formations, and not consciousness. Shariputra, if someone says, 'Why should one instruct and accordingly show something to the unattainable Prajnaparamita?' What does that mean? Shariputra, like this, whatever is unattainable, that is Prajnaparamita. Whatever is Prajnaparamita, that is unattainable. Thus, these two dharmas, unattainability and Prajnaparamita, are non-dual, they are indivisible. Shariputra, therefore, saying like this, 'How should one instruct and accordingly show something to the unattainable Prajnaparamita?' Shariputra, if someone says, 'Apart from the unattainable, whatever Bodhisattva practices towards enlightenment, such a one is invisible.' What does that mean? Shariputra, like this, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices Prajnaparamita, unattainability is one thing, and the Bodhisattva is another, they cannot be truly seen accordingly. Thus, these two dharmas, unattainability and Bodhisattva, are non-dual, they are indivisible. Apart from the unattainable, form also cannot be truly seen accordingly. Thus, these two dharmas, unattainability and form, are non-dual, they are indivisible. Apart from the unattainable, feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness also cannot be truly seen accordingly. Thus, these two dharmas, unattainability and consciousness, are non-dual, they are indivisible. Apart from the unattainable, the eye also cannot be truly seen accordingly. Thus, these two dharmas, unattainability and the eye, are non-dual, they are indivisible.
