Arya Subhuti, one who wishes to train in the ground of a Hearer should also listen to this Perfection of Wisdom. It should be held. It should be kept. It should be read. It should be fully understood. It should be properly kept in mind. Also, one who wishes to train in the ground of a Solitary Buddha should also listen to this Perfection of Wisdom. It should be held. It should be kept. It should be read. It should be fully understood. It should be properly kept in mind. A Bodhisattva Mahasattva who wishes to train in the ground of a Bodhisattva should also listen to this Perfection of Wisdom. It should be held. It should be kept. It should be read. It should be fully understood. It should be properly kept in mind. A Bodhisattva Mahasattva who wishes to train in the ground of a Buddha should also listen to this Perfection of Wisdom. It should be held. It should be kept. It should be read. It should be fully understood. It should be properly kept in mind. Why is that? Bhagavan, since I do not know, do not see, and do not properly perceive things, how should I, who do not know, do not see, and do not properly perceive things, instruct and show any dharma? Bhagavan, this will become my regret. Bhagavan, if I, without knowing, seeing, and properly perceiving all dharmas, only gather and establish names such as 'Bodhisattva' or 'Perfection of Wisdom,' that will become my regret. Bhagavan, although it is so,

The name is also not abiding, nor non-abiding, nor separated from abiding, nor not separated from abiding. Why is that? Because the name does not exist. Thus, the name is not abiding, nor non-abiding, nor separated from abiding, nor not separated from abiding. O Blessed One, I have not known, not perceived, not truly seen the gathering and dispersal of form. O Blessed One, I have not known, not perceived, not truly seen the gathering and dispersal of feeling. O Blessed One, I have not known, not perceived, not truly seen the gathering and dispersal of perception. O Blessed One, I have not known, not perceived, not truly seen the gathering and dispersal of formations. O Blessed One, I have not perceived, not truly seen the gathering and dispersal of consciousness. O Blessed One, since I have not perceived, not truly seen the gathering and dispersal of form and so on, to whom shall I give the name 'Bodhisattva'? O Blessed One, by this reasoning also, the name is not abiding, nor non-abiding, nor separated from abiding, nor not separated from abiding. Why is that? Because the name does not exist. Thus, the name is not abiding, nor non-abiding, nor separated from abiding, nor not separated from abiding. O Blessed One, I have not perceived, not truly seen the gathering and dispersal of the eye. O Blessed One, I have not perceived, not truly seen the gathering and dispersal of the tongue. O Blessed One, I have not perceived, not truly seen the gathering and dispersal of the body. O Blessed One, I have not perceived, not truly seen the gathering and dispersal of the mind.
