is not directly perceived, which is said to be its second conceptualization, the conceptualization of the self as the only one. Shariputra, the eye is not directly perceived. Similarly, up to the mind, form is not directly perceived. Up to the dharma, it is not directly perceived, which is said to be its third conceptualization, the conceptualization of the self of cause. Shariputra, the eye, form, and eye consciousness are not directly perceived. Up to the mind, dharma, and mind consciousness, it is not directly perceived, which is said to be its fourth conceptualization, the conceptualization of the self as the seer and so on. Shariputra, dependent origination is not directly perceived. Up to the formless realm, it is not directly perceived, which is said to be its fifth conceptualization, the conceptualization of the self as the basis of all afflictions. The first dhyana is not directly perceived. Up to the attainment of the formless absorptions, it is not directly perceived, which is said to be its sixth conceptualization, the conceptualization of the self as the basis of detachment. The noble truths are not directly perceived, which is said to be its seventh conceptualization, the conceptualization of the self as the basis of seeing. The eight liberations and the nine successive abidings are not directly perceived, which is said to be its eighth conceptualization, the conceptualization of the self as the basis of meditation. The ten powers are not directly perceived. Up to all-knowingness, it is not directly perceived. How is it not directly perceived? By the nature of self. Why? Because the self is extremely pure, which is said to be its ninth conceptualization, the conceptualization of the self as the basis of what has been done. These are the first conceptualizations of grasping. The second conceptualization of grasping. The nine conceptualizations belonging to the supreme Dharma. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, if someone asks, 'Will this illusory person learn the Prajnaparamita and become all-knowing, or attain all-knowingness?' Blessed One, how should I explain to someone who asks that?"

If an illusion-like person trains in the perfection of meditation, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of patience, the perfection of discipline, and the perfection of generosity, will he attain all-knowingness? If an illusion-like person trains in the aspects of enlightenment, will he attain all-knowingness? If an illusion-like person trains in the Buddha's unshared qualities, will he attain all-knowingness? Will he obtain all-knowingness? If someone asks this, World-Honored One, how should I answer such a question? The World-Honored One said: Subhuti, since that is the case, ask yourself. Answer as you see fit. This is said to be explained in order to dispel the second kind of clinging thought. Subhuti, what do you think? Are form and illusion different? Are feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness different from illusion? He replied: World-Honored One, it is not like that. This is called the first kind of thought, which is associated with the discriminating thought that belongs to the supreme of dharmas. The World-Honored One said: Subhuti, what do you think? Are the eye and illusion different? Are the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind different from illusion? Are form and illusion different?
