And, because of being without abandonment, he does not closely perceive any of the dharmas that should be taken and should be abandoned. Because all dharmas are ungraspable and without abandonment, he does not become arrogant even by passing into nirvana. What is the reason for this? Because not grasping and not abandoning all dharmas is the perfection of wisdom. World-Honored One, precisely because all dharmas are ungraspable, therefore form is not grasped, feeling is not grasped, perception is not grasped, formations are not grasped, consciousness is not grasped. Because of not grasping all dharmas, the individual and collective realms, sources, dependent origination, mindfulness, right abandonment, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, branches of enlightenment, paths, perfections, noble truths, meditations, immeasurables, formless absorptions, liberations, the nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, non-fabrication, superknowledges, samadhis, dharani gates, ten powers, four fearlessnesses, four analytical knowledges, unmixed Buddha-dharmas, suchness, dharma-nature, dharma-realm, dharma-abidingness, dharma-definiteness, and the ultimate limit are not grasped. Because of not grasping all sentient beings, from the non-fulfillment of aspirations until the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unmixed Buddha-dharmas are not fulfilled, not passing into nirvana in between, this is the perfection of wisdom of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas for the sake of the perfection that is without the other shore. What is the reason for this?

Then, all dharmas are not dharmas, up to the mindfulness, the right abandonments, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, the eightfold noble path, the perfections, the superknowledges, the ten powers of the Thus-Gone One, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha—those are also not dharmas, and not-dharmas are also not not-dharmas. Blessed One, it is for the sake of not completely grasping all dharmas. Blessed One, this is said to be the Perfection of Wisdom of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, belonging to the supreme, the difference of the intermediate object and aspect. Blessed One, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, what is the Perfection of Wisdom? Whose is this Perfection of Wisdom? What is this Perfection of Wisdom? Why is it called the Perfection of Wisdom? In this way, one should thoroughly examine it. When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, if one understands in this way: Is that which does not exist and is not visible the Perfection of Wisdom? Then one is not practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Then, the venerable Shariputra said to the venerable Subhuti: Venerable Subhuti, what are those dharmas that do not exist and are not visible? Subhuti said: Venerable Shariputra, inner emptiness, outer emptiness, inner-outer emptiness, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, conditioned emptiness, unconditioned emptiness, emptiness beyond extremes, emptiness without beginning or end, emptiness without abandonment, self-nature emptiness, emptiness of all dharmas, self-characteristic emptiness, invisible emptiness, emptiness of the nature of non-things.
