Similarly, it is not truly seen as pleasure or pain, not truly seen as self or not-self, not truly seen as peace or not peace, not truly seen as empty or not empty, not truly seen as having signs or not having signs, not truly seen as having aspirations or not having aspirations, not truly seen as conditioned or unconditioned, not truly seen as arising or not arising, not truly seen as ceasing or not ceasing, not truly seen as secluded or not secluded, not truly seen as virtuous or non-virtuous, not truly seen as with fault or without fault, not truly seen as with outflows or without outflows, not truly seen as with afflictions or without afflictions, not truly seen as worldly or beyond worldly, not truly seen as completely afflicted or purified. For the ear, sound, and the feeling that arises from the contact of ear consciousness, whether it is pleasant, painful, or neither pleasant nor painful, it is not truly seen as samsara or nirvana. For the nose, smell, and the feeling that arises from the contact of nose consciousness, whether it is pleasant, painful, or neither pleasant nor painful, it is not truly seen as permanent or impermanent.
