The faculty of faith, the faculty of diligence, the faculty of mindfulness, the faculty of samadhi, and the faculty of wisdom. Subhuti, this too is the Great Vehicle of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva in a way that does not focus on anything. Furthermore, Subhuti, the Great Vehicle of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is like this: like the five powers. What are the five? The power of faith, the power of diligence, the power of mindfulness, the power of samadhi, and the power of wisdom. Subhuti, this too is the Great Vehicle of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Furthermore, Subhuti, the Great Vehicle of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is like this: like the eightfold noble path. What are they? Subhuti, this too is the great vehicle of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Subhuti, furthermore, the great vehicle of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is as follows: namely, three samadhis. What are the three? The samadhi of emptiness, the samadhi of signlessness, and the samadhi of wishlessness. Among these, what is the samadhi of emptiness? It is the gate of liberation, emptiness, wherein the mind abides, separately cognizing all dharmas as empty of their own characteristics. This is called the samadhi of emptiness. Among these, what is the samadhi of signlessness? It is the gate of liberation, signlessness, wherein the mind abides, separately cognizing all dharmas as signless. This is called the samadhi of signlessness. Among these, what is the samadhi of wishlessness? It is the gate of liberation, wishlessness, wherein the mind abides, separately cognizing all dharmas as without manifest activity. This is called the samadhi of wishlessness. These three gates of liberation are the three samadhis. Subhuti, this too is the great vehicle of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Subhuti, furthermore, the great vehicle of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is as follows: namely, eleven knowledges. What are the eleven? Knowledge of suffering, knowledge of origination, knowledge of cessation, knowledge of the path, knowledge of exhaustion, knowledge of non-arising, knowledge of dharma, knowledge of subsequent conduct, knowledge of convention, knowledge of familiarity, and knowledge as it sounds. Among these, what is knowledge of suffering? It is knowing that suffering does not arise, that is knowledge of suffering. Among these, what is knowledge of origination? It is knowing the exhaustion of desire, hatred, and ignorance. That is knowing exhaustion. What is knowing non-arising? It is knowing non-arising as non-arising. This is knowing non-arising. What is knowing the Dharma? It is knowing the Dharma that cuts off the five aggregates. This is knowing the Dharma. What is knowing the following? From the impermanence of the eye, to the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind being impermanent, to the aggregates, realms, sources, and dependent origination, both individually and collectively, knowing in that way, that is knowing the following. What is conventional knowing? It is knowing the minds of other sentient beings and other individuals with the mind. This is conventional knowing. What is knowing familiarity? It is knowing the familiar path. This is knowing familiarity. What is knowing as it is? It is knowing the wisdom of the Tathagata's all-knowingness, also in an unobtainable way. This is called knowing as it is. Subhuti, this is also the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Furthermore, Subhuti, another Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is as follows: there are three faculties. What are the three? The faculty of making the unknown known, the faculty of knowing, and the faculty of protecting the known. What is the faculty of making the unknown known? For those learners who have not yet realized, their faculty of faith, faculty of diligence, faculty of mindfulness, faculty of concentration, and faculty of wisdom are invisible and subdued. This is called the faculty of making the unknown known. What is the faculty of knowing? For those learners who possess knowledge, their faculty of faith, faculty of diligence, faculty of mindfulness,
