It explains from "not seeing purity" downwards. The object of the great supreme Dharma is the words of the Sutra. The venerable Shariputra, the perfection of wisdom is also other, samadhi is also other, and the Bodhisattva is also other, without saying that there is no such thing, etc., is explained below. The aspect is also the words of the Sutra. Shariputra said: Venerable Subhuti, if all dharmas are equal, then samadhi is also not other, etc., is explained below. The Division of Ascertainment The division of ascertainment abandons the four kinds of discrimination. That is, there are two kinds of grasping discriminations, which are discriminations about things, that is, discriminations about aggregates, etc., only as expressions; and discriminations about antidotes, that is, knowing only the mind about the aspects of purity such as the perfection of wisdom. There are also two kinds of grasping discriminations, which are discriminations about grasping onto a person, that is, with the aspect of grasping, it prevents the complete absence of self-nature of the fabricated things such as sentient beings. And the discrimination based on what is established there, that is, the person who is falsely established on the aggregates, is also distinguished as not being the nature of grasping. These four should also be viewed as existing in the four parts of ascertainment in order. Among them, there are also nine kinds of the first discrimination of what is grasped, that is, the ignorance that is the basis of the defilements of the grasped discrimination; the aggregates such as form; attachment to the two extremes through attachment to name and form, etc.; not understanding defilement and purity; not abiding in the noble path; the object is completely pure; the self and so on are completely pure; birth and so on are completely pure; the second discrimination of what is grasped, the discrimination of the antidote also has nine kinds, that is, the aggregates of the antidote; the door of birth; lineage; birth; emptiness; ultimate truth; the path of seeing; the path of meditation; the path of no more learning; the first discrimination of what is grasped also has nine kinds, that is, the basis of the person who exists as a substance, the self-independent; one; cause; author; the self is completely defiled; free from desire; the path of seeing; the path of meditation; the basis of what has been done; the second discrimination of what is grasped also has nine kinds, that is, the person

The dependent aggregates, sense bases, elements, dependent origination, purification, seeing, meditation, special qualities, and the path of no more learning that exist; thus divided, there are thirty-six kinds of conceptualizations. Among the first nine, the extremely pure object of focus is also from the sutra, as shown by "Subhuti, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva should also train in the Prajnaparamita in this way," and so on. The extremely pure self and so on is also from the sutra, as Shariputra asked, "Bhagavan, what is not focused on?" and so on. The extremely pure birth and so on is also from the sutra, as "Shariputra, all dharmas have no birth and no cessation," and so on. Ignorance is also from the sutra, "Shariputra, how is it non-existent? It is not existent in that way, therefore it is called ignorance," and so on. The aggregates of form and so on are also from the sutra, "Shariputra, because of the emptiness of inner emptiness and the emptiness of the nature of non-things, form is not existent," and so on. Clinging to the two extremes through attachment to name and form is also from the sutra, "Among them, any childish beings with manifest clinging to ignorance and craving," and so on. Not knowing all afflictions and extreme purification is also from the sutra, "Because they cling to it in this way, they conceptualize non-existent dharmas," and so on. Not abiding in the noble path is also from the sutra, "They do not abide; where do they not abide?" and so on. The second kind of apprehended conceptualization, the support of the antidote, is also from the sutra, "Bhagavan, how does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva train in the Prajnaparamita?" and so on. Dividing into nine is not found as sections in the sutra, but is established by meaning. The distinction between the two kinds of apprehended conceptualizations is also similar. The first kind of apprehended conceptualization, the support of the truly existent person, is also from the sutra, "Bhagavan, some ask this, 'This illusory person,'" and so on. The second kind of apprehended conceptualization, the support of the nominally existent person, is also the beginning of the tenth chapter.
