What is enlightenment like? Whether it possesses those dharmas, or does not possess them, or is not without them. It is neither demonstrable nor obstructive, and so on. Fifteenth, because there is no dharma-nature, the nature of dharma is also stated in the sutra: Subhuti, this Prajnaparamita, which is without characteristics and has one characteristic for the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas to be trained in, is formless, unteachable, and unobstructed, and so on. Sixteenth, because self and common characteristics are unreasonable, so meditation is also stated in the sutra: Thus it was reported, and the Blessed One said to the venerable Subhuti: Subhuti, it is so, it is so. Subhuti, all dharmas are without characteristics, not different characteristics, nor one characteristic. Subhuti, meditating on the absence of characteristics is the meditation on the Prajnaparamita of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. And so on. Here, the lineage of controversy is not shown, which is also stated in the sutra: At the beginning of the seventieth chapter, it is said: Thus it was said, and the venerable Subhuti reported to the Blessed One: Blessed One, if even the conforming forbearance is not present for those who have the notion of things, how can there be attainment? How can there be realization? If not, is it that the conforming forbearance is not present for those who have no notion of things? And so on below. Gradual. The gradualness of the six paramitas. Thus it was said, and the venerable Subhuti reported to the Blessed One: Blessed One, if the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva realizes all dharmas as without substance, and attains complete and perfect enlightenment with the four dhyanas and five superknowledges, then from this beginning, the paramitas and the six recollections, etc., are gradually realized in the manner of non-objectification, so the Dana Paramita is also stated in the sutra: When he trains in the Dana Paramita, he himself also gives alms, and others also
