Furthermore, because it is superior to the support, eight hundred thousand kinds of insects do not arise in the body. The Sutra also says: "Subhuti, furthermore, in the bodies of those who have become human beings, there are eight hundred thousand kinds of insects, and those insects dwell in that very body," and so on. Thirteenth, because the roots of virtue are completely pure, there is no hypocrisy in the mind. The Sutra also says: "Having said this, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, how does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva have a completely pure body, a completely pure speech, and a completely pure mind?" and so on. Fourteenth, not looking at gain and so on, but truly taking the qualities of training, the Sutra also says: "Subhuti, furthermore, a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva is not attached to gain and respect," and so on. Fifteenth, because of accomplishing generosity and so on, there is no stinginess and so on, which are contrary to it. The Sutra also says: "Subhuti, furthermore, a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not generate a mind of stinginess," and so on. Sixteenth, because all dharmas are truly gathered, there is no contradiction with the nature of dharma. The Sutra also says: "Subhuti, furthermore, a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva is of steadfast intelligence," and so on. Seventeenth, because beings are regarded as one's own, one is willing to go to hell for the sake of others. The Sutra also says: "Subhuti, furthermore, in front of a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the evil Mara manifests eight great hot hells," and so on. Thus, these six are combined with the crown. Eighteenth, because of trusting in realization, one is not led astray by others. The Sutra also says: "Subhuti, if again an evil Mara comes before a Bodhisattva Mahasattva in the guise of a mendicant," and so on. Nineteenth, because of knowing the Buddha's skillful means, the Mara who shows a path-like disguise is known as Mara himself. The Sutra also says: "Subhuti, furthermore, an evil Mara comes before a Bodhisattva Mahasattva in the guise of a Bhikshu, saying: This is the conduct of Samsara," and so on. These two

Associated with patience. Twentieth, with the three wheels being completely pure, all actions please the Buddhas, as also stated in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices in the Prajnaparamita thinks, if the Tathagata teaches as he has said, then he does not depart from that practice, etc., which shows the combination with the supreme of worldly dharmas. These twenty are signs of non-retrogression from the unexcelled Bodhi, residing on the path of application. The signs of non-retrogression for those who abide on the path of seeing are sixteen aspects, with four distinctions for each of the four truths. Turning away from the perception of form and other dharmas due to the emptiness of their own nature is also stated in the sutra: Having spoken thus, the Venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, from what does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva turn back, so that he is called non-returning? etc., which is explained below. Secondly, the mind of unsurpassed Bodhi is shown by the blessings of the Buddhas, etc., as also stated in the sutra: From the beginning of the fiftieth chapter: Subhuti, furthermore, an evil demon comes to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva and disturbs his faith, etc. Thirdly, practicing Dharma in the Great Vehicle, thereby turning away from the Lesser Vehicle, is also stated in the sutra: Then, the Venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva also called non-returning? etc. Fourthly, by the power of discrimination, the limbs of birth in dhyana, etc., are completely exhausted, as also stated in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, if he wishes, can enter the first dhyana, etc. These four are combined with the aspect of suffering. Fifthly, being separated from non-virtue, the body and mind are light and at ease, as also stated in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva possesses the attention of a Bodhisattva,
