Satva, thus starting from various kinds of ignorance, the samadhi that proceeds without obstruction, such as not knowing, not seeing, not directly realizing, is everything. To diligently know each meaning individually is to know without obstruction the meanings of one's own and common characteristics of dharmas, and other meanings, etc., which are extensively taught. To diligently know each definitive word individually is to understand the definitive words of the dharmas of different terms for each realm, one's own and common consciousness, in the language of whatever sentient beings exist in that realm. For example, because it decays and utterly decays, it is called the world; because it can be a form, it is called form, and so on. To diligently know each fearlessness individually is to be without obstruction to the various distinctions of whatever dharma, etc., as before. Among these various distinctions are real existence, imputed existence, and ultimate existence, etc. What are the four kinds of complete purification? Because one abides as desired by taking, abiding, and truly benefiting the support, it is the purification of the support. Because one engages in conduct as desired by the manifestation and transformation of the object, it is the purification of the object. Because one has mastery over wisdom and mastery over samadhi, it is the purification of mind and the purification of wisdom. What are the ten powers? They are as follows: To have power over life depends on the desire to live, which is attained by the perfection of the perfection of generosity. Why is this so? Because by giving wealth, sentient beings are definitely connected with life. To have power over mind is the nature of truly summarizing what one desires to directly realize. Because by giving wealth, the thoughts of sentient beings follow whatever mind they have. To have power over resources is to obtain the supreme truth that is closely summarized as one desires to directly realize. Because one truly gives resources to sentient beings as they desire. To have power over actions is to truly abide in the actions of body and speech as desired.

It is obtained by gathering together. It is obtained by the complete fulfillment of the aspiration endowed with the perfection of morality. Why is that? Because the physical and verbal actions of sentient beings are without fault, it is for the sake of the practice of manifest desire. To have power over birth is how it is obtained by the very gathering together of the birth of the desired realm. Why is that? Because the aspiration endowed with morality is accomplished. To have power over faith is to truly gather together by following after whatever one believes in, such as earth turning into gold, etc. It is obtained by the complete perfection of patience. Why is that? Because in previous lifetimes, he followed the faith of sentient beings with patience. To have power over aspiration is to truly gather together by accomplishing as one aspires. It is obtained by the complete perfection of diligence. Why is that? Because in the past, he practiced without diminishing the diligence of all sentient beings. It is truly gathered together by the five superknowledges. It is obtained by the complete perfection of meditative concentration. Because in the past, he entered into meditative concentration according to the needs of sentient beings. To have power over wisdom is to truly gather together by manifesting wisdom as desired. It is obtained by the complete perfection of wisdom. Because in the past, he truly practiced the Dharma, such as the sutras, as sentient beings desired to manifest. The ten powers are as follows: the power of knowing what is possible and impossible, the power of knowing actions and their maturation, the power of knowing meditative concentration, samadhi, and attainments, the power of knowing superior and inferior faculties, the power of knowing various aspirations, the power of knowing various realms, the power of knowing the path to all destinations, the power of knowing death and rebirth, the power of knowing the recollection of past lives, and the power of knowing the exhaustion of defilements. The meaning of these is extensively explained in the Sutra of the King of Dharani Power.

He observes greatly. The four kinds of fearlessness are: Alas! I have vowed to realize complete and perfect enlightenment, therefore, no one will refute me with things that are in accordance with the Dharma, saying that I have realized this Dharma, because I have not truly seen any reason, so I obtain happiness, obtain freedom from worry, obtain fearlessness, this is the first. Similarly, alas! I have vowed that all my defilements have been exhausted, therefore, no one will refute me here with things that are in accordance with the Dharma, saying that these defilements have not been exhausted, etc., as before, this is the second. Furthermore, when I show the path of liberation to the Shravakas, it will cease, and because suffering will be completely exhausted, it is not the path of liberation, after vowing thus, no one will refute that it is not the end of suffering, as before, this is the third. Furthermore, the Dharma of obstruction that I have taught to the Shravakas, it will prevent, and it is not an obstruction, therefore, no one will refute me here with things that are in accordance with the Dharma, as before, this is the fourth fearlessness. The three unguardednesses are like this: The Tathagata has completely pure bodily conduct, because the Tathagata does not have completely impure bodily conduct, therefore, whatever is the intended vow, the Tathagata does not have it, this is the first unguardedness. Just as the activity of the body, so should the activity of speech and mind be spoken of. The three close mindfulnesses are like this: When the Tathagata teaches the Dharma, some people listen attentively and respectfully, abiding with a mind of listening to the teachings, and diligently pursue the Dharma and its meaning, therefore, the Tathagata will not be pleased, nor will he be at ease, nor will he be distracted, while others listen attentively and respectfully, on the contrary, speak extensively, therefore, the Tathagata will not be angry, nor will he be impatient, nor will he be distrustful, and
