Speaking a Brahma-like voice that allows one to understand multiple meanings from a single utterance, this is because there is no obstruction in many worlds, and for the beings to be tamed who abide, it possesses a voice that allows their ears to hear the same. These two are the precursors to possessing a voice with five qualities. Having a voice with five qualities means being fully known, being able to be fully understood, being pleasant to hear and without discord, being profound and with a following tone, not being vulgar and being pleasing to the ear, and being unconfused and clear. Being unconfused means being able to be well understood. It is precisely for this reason that it is said to be clear, because it enables various kinds of beings to be tamed to understand. For a long time, not speaking nonsense and speaking at the right time, therefore the cheeks are like a lion's, this is a precursor to all words being worthy of praise. Through reverence and without contempt, life is completely purified, therefore the teeth are very white and the teeth are even, this is a precursor to accumulating retinues in the past. For a long time, using truthful words and words without slander, therefore the teeth are close together and have forty teeth, this is a precursor to the retinue not separating. Like an arm embracing, there is no wrong thought, no attachment, no hatred, and looking with eyes without ignorance, therefore the whites and blacks of the eyes are distinct, like the eyelashes of a cow, this is a precursor to complete beauty, this is because it is in accordance with the way of opening the eyes. After explaining the thirty-two marks of a great person, it is said in order to explain the eighty minor marks, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are separated from all manifest actions, the nails are like the color of red copper; like the love of relatives and friends, having a mind that benefits all beings and brings happiness, the nails are glossy in color; born into a noble lineage, the nails are high.

Because of saving from all difficult places to go, the feet are not uneven. The lion among men walks in the manner of a lion. The elephant among men walks in the manner of an elephant. Like the king of swans walking in the sky, he is skilled in walking in the manner of the king of swans. Because he has become the best among men, he walks in the manner of the best. Walking in accordance with the direction of the circle, he walks turning to the right. It looks beautiful, that is, walking beautifully. Always without a crooked mind, that is, walking straight. Because the qualities are truly spoken, the body is wrapped in glory. Because it is not stained by sinful dharmas, the body is like being wiped clean. Because he teaches the Dharma in accordance with the disciples to be tamed, the body is gradually suitable. Because the conduct of body, speech, and mind is pure, the body is pure. Because the mind is naturally gentle, the body is soft. Because the mind is naturally pure, the body is pure. Because the Dharma and Vinaya are completely fulfilled, the signs are complete. Because the qualities of being wide and beautiful are proclaimed, the body is wide and good. Because the mind is equal to all, the steps are even. Because of teaching the pure Dharma, the eyes are pure. Because of teaching the Dharma that is very easy to understand, the body is very young. Because the mind is always unyielding, the body is without shrinking. Because the root of virtue is truly exalted, the body is full. Because rebirth is exhausted, the body is very tight.

By demonstrating the purity of words and meanings, the vision is free from dimness and is extremely pure. By having perfect disciples, the waist is round. By not being defiled by the faults of samsara, the waist is well-proportioned. By subduing the arrogance of pride, the waist is not bent. By reversing the decline of the Dharma, it is straight. By realizing the profound Dharma, the navel is deep. By harmonizing disciples, the navel spirals to the right. By the assembly of disciples being beautiful in every way, it is beautiful in every way. By the mind being extremely pure, all actions are pure. By being free from untimely discipline, there are no black moles on the body. By the body and other forms being comfortable, the hands are as soft as cotton. By loving one's own people and ordinary people, one has attained the state of a great ascetic, therefore the lines on the hands are radiant. By abiding in the most profound Dharma, the lines on the hands are deep. By showing the Dharma that is completely pure in the future, the lines on the hands are long. By not taking vows that are too long, the face is not too long. By seeing all the world as like reflections, the lips are as red as the bimba fruit. By taming with gentle words first, the tongue is soft. By having many reasonable qualities, the tongue is thin. By being attached to the Dharma and discipline like a child, it is difficult to fathom, therefore the tongue is red. By not being frightened by the sound of elephants and dragons, one has the roar of an elephant king and is melodious. By having disciples who speak pleasantly, softly, and delightfully, the speech is pleasant, soft, and gentle. By cutting off all bonds of existence, the teeth are round. By being skilled in taming those who are difficult to tame, the teeth are sharp. Because the Dharma and discipline are extremely white, the teeth are white.
