And, it has been shown that the beings of the ten directions of the world are properly placed in that. The ninth part of praise is that, starting from Jambudvipa, in each of the ten directions, beings of the world as many as the sands of the Ganges River, all placed on the ground of non-retrogression, and from those non-retrogressors, any other Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, quickly manifest the unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, manifest enlightenment into Buddhahood, thereby knowing, without reversing the Prajnaparamita, the merit will greatly increase, etc., this has been shown. To those who generate joy in the Bodhisattva, saying "Good! Good!" thus praising, the meaning is fully clarified with words of praise. Among them, praise is for the object of love for one's own benefit. Respect is for the object of love for the benefit of oneself and others. Praise is for the object of love for the benefit of others. Like this, these praises and so on are the characteristics of the nature of understanding the meaning of words as they are, and not like the false praises that contradict the meaning spoken by those who speak of grammar. Some say, "Whatever is two and a half ams (ཨམ, Sanskrit अम्, Roman transliteration am, no meaning), is respect." Some say, "For them, the Brahma of sound is the highest, so respect is necessary." But here, as said before, it is the characteristic of the nature of understanding. Some say, "Whatever is in the position of praise, I know the praise of the sacrificial offering." And after saying the corresponding answer, saying "That is the praise of these," but that also belongs to the category of sound. Here, the characteristic of understanding of the ninth part is praise. Complete, part, distribution, are the meanings of these words. Having done so, in other sutras, in the beginning of that and that, "Then, the Bhagavan abided together with all the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, and the praise, respect, and praise of all the Buddhas," what was said in this way becomes reasonable. It is faith and is the explanation of action. The form of complete dedication

Chapter on Distinctions. After explaining the recollection of faith, praise, reverence, and eulogy, now it is time to speak about the recollection of dedication. Therefore, the excellent dedication, its very function, is of the nature of non-objectification, devoid of perversion, the accumulation of merit of solitude and the Buddhas, characterized by the recollection of self-nature, possessing skillful means and being without signs, sanctioned by the Buddhas, not belonging to the three realms, small, medium, and large, and other dedications are of three kinds, being the very nature of the greatest arising of merit. As it is taught. Among them, the excellent dedication is this: From the objects of merit such as the giving of the Hearers and all the Solitary Buddhas, the Great Bodhisattva dedicates in a way that does not fixate on the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment. This itself is said to be the most excellent, the most supreme, the most principal. It is taught, and so on. Among them, 'most excellent' is of two kinds: the very excellence of being supreme, and the very non-duality of being principal due to the blazing of diligence. Among them, the very excellence of being supreme is also of two kinds: the supreme itself is due to skill in means, and 'excellent' refers to the perfection of wisdom. Being principal is also of two kinds: being principal itself due to being without equal, and being principal due to being unequal and equal. Therefore, seven sentences explain its distinguishing characteristics. The function of dedication is that whatever becomes the cause for showing the path of definite emergence of the three vehicles of sentient beings is therefore called unequaled. Becoming the cause for the unequal Buddhas and the attainment of equality is therefore called unequal and equal. Why is that? Because it is taught by the distinction of the Hearers and so on, and the Bodhisattva's own and others' benefits.

And gathering together all the roots of virtue of beings who are ripe and liberated, rejoicing, and from what is the object of dedication, the object and the object of focus, and enlightenment and mind, and the root of virtue, and what is the object of merit that possesses rejoicing, and from the very nature of the mind being exhausted, ceased, and non-existent, all dharmas follow non-substantiality, and dedicating in an inconceivable manner is excellent, and so forth, these have been taught. Among these, the object is lineage, the object of focus is all dharmas, enlightenment is what is to be done, mind is the conceptualization of grasping at an appearance, the root of virtue is non-attachment and so forth, the object of merit is what arises from the mind, the exhaustion of these is the complete destruction of accumulation, cessation is the destruction of continuity, non-existence is the destruction of self-nature, transformation is the destruction of transformation. The dedication with the characteristic of non-perversion is that whatever mind dedicates, that mind is also that. Why is that? Because it is taught thus: all dharmas are empty of self-nature. The secluded dedication is that if a great bodhisattva is to manifest the object of accumulating merit, knowing that it is secluded from the aggregates and so forth, from this beginning, until knowing that all the Buddha's dharmas are secluded by their very essence, these have been taught. The dedication of remembering the nature that belongs to the lineage of the roots of virtue of the Buddhas is that again, whatever belongs to the lineage of the roots of virtue of the Buddhas and whatever is the essence, similarly, the object of merit is dedication, these have been taught. The dedication of skillful means is that any great bodhisattva here should train in those with skillful means, and so forth, these have been taught. The dedication without characteristics is that, taking the example of food mixed with poison, the dedication of those with clinging to characteristics is poisonous and stinging, and so forth, these have been taught.
