The non-objectifying yoga of the great ones is taught as learning the Perfection of Wisdom, and so on. Conceptualization with sentient beings as objects refers to clinging to self, sentient beings, life, etc., as well as aggregates, elements, sense bases, dependent origination, formless absorptions, the factors of enlightenment, powers, fearlessnesses, unmixed qualities of the Buddha, stream-enterers, Bodhisattvas, enlightenment, and the utterly pure dharmas of the Buddha, taking these as objects and explaining them. The sutra for this is: Shariputra, no self, no sentient being, no life, no person, no individual, and so on. That which is unborn, unarisen, without object, and without manifestation with regard to form, etc., is taught as purity. As it is said in the sutra: Shariputra, that which is unborn, without object, and without manifestation is called purity. Conceptualization of ignorance is taught as clinging to some dharmas as not being as they are, which is ignorance. As it is said in the sutra: Shariputra, in this way, a Bodhisattva does not study any dharma at all. Why is that? Shariputra, these dharmas do not exist in the way that childish ordinary beings cling to them; they exist in the way that they do not exist. Because they do not exist in that way, they are called ignorance. In order to establish the conceptualization that focuses on the aggregates, etc., the aggregates, etc., the factors of enlightenment, the fearlessnesses, and all emptinesses are taken as objects, and it is taught that they are not truly existent. As it is said: Shariputra, form is not truly existent, because it takes inner emptiness as its object, and so on. The conceptualization of clinging to name and form, and the conceptualization of attachment to the two extremes, are also dominated by these two, namely, ignorance and craving.

It is manifest attachment to name and form, and clinging to the two extremes. To this, children, due to ignorance and craving, manifestly attach to name and form, and even manifestly attach to the dharmas of the Buddhas, and because of manifest attachment, they cling to the two extremes. Therefore, because it is not real, it is named Dharma. The conceptualization of not knowing the difference between defilement and purification is because of trusting those things, thereby not being able to determine that it arises from form, etc., and defilements, etc., and not knowing purification, etc., from the desire realm, etc. Its sutra is: Therefore, he does not know or see form, feeling, and consciousness, etc., entering the ranks of children, which is the desire realm, etc. The conceptualization of not abiding in the noble path is due to not believing in the manifestation of emptiness of form, etc., with generosity, etc., the perfections as the vanguard, and even not abiding in the unmixed dharmas. As it is said in the sutra: Not believing that form is empty of form, and even not believing that enlightenment is empty of enlightenment, therefore not abiding in that Prajnaparamita, etc. This is the first conceptualization of the object of grasping. Due to not being skilled in means, between the perfections and immeasurables, etc., and the dhyanas and formless absorptions, etc., even the unmixed dharmas, one clings to and manifestly attaches to all-knowingness, from there onwards, until it is shown that all-knowingness will definitely arise through the yoga of non-sign. This is the second conceptualization of the object of grasping. Its sutra is: Shariputra, Bodhisattvas, due to not being skilled in means, cling to and manifestly attach to the Prajnaparamita, etc. The basis of all things is the first, and the basis of pure things itself is the second, thus this is the difference between the two conceptualizations of the object of grasping. In this way, what is the first conceptualization of the object of grasping, the second is also the same, what was said earlier is the explanation of this, therefore, for the time being, what is the first, that...

The second is like this: the first conceptualization of all foundational things is indeed transformed into the second. The second is not the first, like this: relying solely on the completely purified apprehended conceptualization, the second is not the first. Speaking of the freedom of the conceptualization that grasps the object of a person who exists substantially, starting from the yoga of non-apprehension, to the aggregates, to omniscience, through the yoga of emptiness and non-apprehension, will the illusory being definitely become omniscience? Starting from this, up to the aggregates, and the fearlessnesses, omniscience, and the mutual essence of illusion being shown as one, illusion is completely afflicted, and completely purified, birth, and cessation are prevented, therefore those perfections, etc., up to the unmixed, will definitely become omniscience and will omniscience be attained? This is said to prevent definite becoming. It is the first of the apprehending conceptualization. The second is the apprehending conceptualization, speaking of the freedom of the object of a person who exists nominally, this is showing the bodhisattva nominally established on the aggregates of close attainment, the sutra of that is, Subhuti, what do you think, whatever is thought of in this, and the general thought, and the nominal establishment, and the term bodhisattva, is like this: are the five aggregates of close attainment? Answer: World Honored One, it is not like that, etc., is said. Like that, other two-part sutras and treatises should also be combined.
