This is to show the cessation of things arising from actions. This is also because it contains symbols. To refute the statement that "there is no object of focus," the answer here is, as it is said, "The venerable Shariputra is taken as an example." Because the object of complete examination depends on the object of focus. If one completely dedicates the roots of virtue such as giving in a dream to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, is it a correct dedication? Or is it an incorrect dedication? The answer to this is, as it is said, "Maitreya Bodhisattva is the manifestation of the three omniscient realizations, and is one birth away from Buddhahood, so he will answer this question." What does this mean? Because he is given the power to answer the question, the question that future Buddhas will appear one after another is incomplete. If that question were complete, then the appearance of Buddhas in the future would become meaningless. How is it shown to be incomplete? Starting from the name, all dharmas are capable of answering, but the object of focus is unattainable. Therefore, these people vow that they have directly realized these things themselves, and that they have directly realized the meaning, and in order to avoid the fault of completing the answer, they desire that the lineage of future Buddhas will not be interrupted. Therefore, the great Bodhisattva Maitreya, because he practices without focusing on the six perfections, is endowed with profound wisdom, and therefore, he has shown the distinction between samsara and nirvana, and has realized the signlessness, so it is said. Showing the equality of samsara and nirvana is because at that time, he took the intention of that time as the standard, and because he practices without any object of focus, he will surely realize fearlessness and so on. This is an explanation of the equality of samsara and nirvana. Explanation of the Pure Land of the Buddha. After showing the equality of samsara and nirvana, now it is the Pure Land of the Buddha.

Now, let's talk about pure realms. This is shown in two ways: through the distinction between the sentient world and the container world. Just as the sentient world is, the container world is impure. By achieving purity in this, the Buddha-field is indeed pure. This is how it is shown. The hunger and so on of the sentient world are the impurities of the body. The antidote to this is the purity of the enjoyments of the gods and so on, which are closely gathered. The container world is this great earth with many trees and thorns, which are impure. The antidote to this is being gathered by purity, such as being as flat as the palm of the hand. This is a brief summary of the complete purity of the Buddha-field. In detail, in the sutras, whenever the aspect of the complete purity of the Buddha-field is addressed, seeing sentient beings hungry and so on, one's own Buddha-field becomes like the enjoyments of the gods of the heavens and so on. Thus, practicing the perfections, one perfects the perfection of generosity. Among these, what is close to enjoyment is food and so on. What is fully enjoyed is the adornment of jewels and pearls and so on. Similarly, abstaining from killing and so on, and being gathered by the reversal of its results, is the perfection of morality. Being gathered by the reversal of harmful thoughts is the perfection of patience. Being gathered by the reversal of laziness is the perfection of diligence. Being gathered by the reversal of the five obscurations and excluding the first dhyana and so on, is the perfection of meditation. Among these, the five obscurations are desire for sensual pleasures, malice, sleep, drowsiness, excitement, regret, and doubt. Being gathered by the reversal of perverse wisdom is the perfection of wisdom. At all times and in all places, one is close to the all-knowingness of all aspects, and in one's own Buddha-field, sentient beings are certain to fall, and there is no awareness in the uncertain three aggregates, and even the name of the three lower realms is not known, and there are many trees and so on.
