Buddha does not exist. Bodhi does not exist. Whatever is said in between is what (the Buddha) said. By the power of the Truth of the Path, the perfections, as well as the aggregates, elements, sense bases, the limbs of dependent origination, the aspects of enlightenment, the truths, the individual correct knowledge, the superknowledges, the powers, the fearlessnesses, the unmixed qualities of the Buddha, whether they are joined to or not joined to omniscience, because they are not observed following after that, therefore, the sutra says: As he practices in the Perfection of Wisdom, yet in the Perfection of Giving, whether it is said to be associated or not associated, he does not see himself very much, and so on. Emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, etc., because it prevents combining with emptiness, etc., it is said: When he practices in the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not combine emptiness with emptiness. He does not separate with emptiness. Signlessness and signlessness do not gather or separate. Wishlessness and wishlessness do not gather or create, and so on. Whatever is said is what (the Buddha) said. This clearly shows that the Truth of the Path is non-conceptual. The aggregates such as form, joining and separating with the former extreme, are completely prohibited. The sutra says: Shariputra, the form of the Bodhisattva does not join or separate with the former extreme. Thus, that former extreme itself is not very much seen, and so on. Whatever is said is what (the Buddha) said. The times are joined and prohibited with each other. The sutra says: He does not join or separate the former extreme with the latter extreme, holding the equality of the three times, and so on. Whatever is said is what (the Buddha) said. It is forbidden to combine each time with omniscience. The sutra says: Omniscience does not join or separate with the past, because thus, that past itself is not very much seen, and so on. Whatever is said is what (the Buddha) said. Therefore, the definite arising of the path

This is to clearly show the essence of self-nature. It is a teaching on the truth. What is the teaching on the Three Jewels? It should be known that it is a teaching on the Three Jewels. Taking the Buddha Jewel as an example, it is forbidden to combine the skandhas, realms, sources, limbs of dependent origination, aspects of enlightenment, individual correct knowledge, supernormal powers, strengths, fearlessness, the Buddha's unmixed dharmas, the Buddha, and all-knowingness. This sutra says that when he practices the Prajnaparamita, he should not combine form with all-knowingness, and should not even truly see form, until he does not combine the Buddha with all-knowingness. It is forbidden to combine all-knowingness with the Buddha. The sutra says that one should not combine all-knowingness with the Buddha, and should not even truly see the Buddha. The Buddha and all-knowingness, Bodhi and all-knowingness, are considered to be of the same essence. The sutra says: Why is that? Because the Buddha is all-knowingness, and all-knowingness is also the Buddha. Bodhi is all-knowingness, and all-knowingness is also Bodhi. Taking the Dharma Jewel as an example, it is forbidden to combine the skandha of form, etc., with non-existence, etc. As it is said: When he practices the Prajnaparamita, he should not combine form with existence, he should not combine form with non-existence, etc. Because the Dharma is free from desire, in order to explain that everything is free from desire, it is said: The Bodhisattva should not practice the Prajnaparamita for the sake of the Paramita of Giving, etc. It is to eliminate worldly afflictions.

Thus it is taught. The Sutra says that by practicing in this way, all the worldly afflictions will be eliminated. Worldly afflictions are encompassed by ignorance and views with outflows. Bodhisattvas practice yoga in order to completely destroy these afflictions from their roots. Although fully aware of the defilements of the desire realm, they consciously take birth in the desire realm in order to fully ripen sentient beings. Although fully aware of the defilements of existence, they consciously fully grasp existence. Furthermore, it should not be said that a Bodhisattva both has afflictions and does not have afflictions. Why? Because they do not universally engage in afflictions, so it should not be said that they have afflictions; and because they wish to manifest the wisdom of the Tathagata, and their aspirations are not yet fully complete, so it should not be said that they are without afflictions. Teaching in the capacity of the Sangha Jewel, such as Shariputra, that Bodhisattva from other Buddha-fields, or from the heaven of Tushita, or from the human realm, having died and transmigrated here, then quickly engages in yoga here, beginning with the Bodhisattva quickly attaining direct realization, and so forth. After teaching the offering to the Three Jewels, teaching in the manner of teaching non-attachment, such as what is the body, from which body does the body arise, and so forth, until not observing the body, and so forth. Teaching in the manner of not being completely weary, such as not being arrogant towards the skandhas, the elements, the sense bases, as well as the limbs of enlightenment, as well as the paramitas, as well as individual self-realization wisdom, as well as the powers, the fearlessnesses, as well as the unshared qualities of the Buddha, as well as the four fruits, as well as self-enlightenment, as well as perfect and complete enlightenment, this is the prevention of arrogance. This Sutra says that when practicing the Prajnaparamita, there is no arrogance towards form, up to and including no arrogance towards unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. If one becomes without arrogance, one will become completely unwearied. The path.
