What is it? What exactly is Prajnaparamita? Whose is this Prajnaparamita? From where does this Prajnaparamita come? To whom does this Prajnaparamita belong? and so on. Having explained the peak of realization, patience should be discussed, starting from what is called "showing the cause of constant practice." One by one, explain the aggregates such as form, because each is separate from the nature of the aggregates such as form. Similarly, from the realms and sources, etc., up to those that are unmixed, being separate from the nature of suchness, etc., is because they are the nature of suchness, etc. Therefore, it is first shown that patience is superior as an object because all dharmas are without self-nature, as stated in the sutra: "Shariputra, endowed with life, form is separate from the nature of form," and so on. The aggregates such as form, etc., and suchness, etc., because each is without self-nature, this shows that all dharmas appear particularly superior due to being without self-nature. As stated in the sutra: "Shariputra, endowed with life, the nature of form is non-existent," up to "Shariputra, endowed with life, for the same reason, form is separate from the nature of form," and so on. Each of those is separate from the nature of characteristics. Self-nature is also separate from self-nature. This shows that the nature of characteristics and the characteristics of self-nature are particularly superior in appearance because they lack essence with each other, as stated in the sutra: "Shariputra, endowed with life, the nature of characteristics is also separate from characteristics," and so on. The characteristics of self-nature are also separate from self-nature. Thus, learning is to show that it is definitely the cause of arising into all-knowingness, therefore, obtaining accordance with small patience is called small patience. In order to explain the middle, why is it definitely going to lead to all-knowingness? Completely inquire.

It is said that, venerable Shariputra, it is because all dharmas are unborn and unoriginated. Starting from here, the skandhas, realms, and sources, etc., are also because of their self-nature emptiness, birth and cessation are not observed. They successively take the unborn nature of all dharmas as their object, which is particularly excellent. Therefore, it should be known that non-arising is a particularly excellent aspect. A Bodhisattva who has attained the tolerance of conformity has attained the state of being beyond the three types of differences from the lower realms. Complete liberation from maturation means attaining complete purification of the body and so on. As it is said in the sutra: "The more one approaches omniscience, the more one attains complete purification of the body, complete purification of the mind, and complete purification of the signs." Complete liberation from the cause of bad migrations means not generating a mind of desire. As it is said, "One does not generate a mind with desire, one does not generate a mind with hatred," and so on. Obtaining complete liberation from complete deterioration means that one will be born miraculously, go to other Buddha-fields, purify the fields, and ripen sentient beings, because one is free from non-perfect enlightenment. As it is said in the sutra: "One does not generate a mind of desire," and so on, "one does not generate a mind with views, and one will never be born from a mother's womb." He constantly and continuously takes miraculous birth, goes to Buddha-fields, and ripens sentient beings, and so on. In order to express the great meaning by explaining the middle ones with these. World Honored One, if a Bodhisattva is not skillful in means, when practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, if he practices on form, he is practicing on signs, not practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Starting from here, if one practices on the skandhas such as form, one is practicing on signs, thus preventing the practice of the Perfection of Wisdom. And, from the perspective of each skandha, permanence, impermanence, etc.

Suffering and happiness, self and no-self, peace and non-peace, hidden and not hidden, similarly, starting from realms and sources, etc., if one clings to characteristics, one is prohibited from not clinging to Prajnaparamita. If one clings to self, etc., it is because one is not skilled in means. These are great forbearance, because the very absence of characteristics in all dharmas is the excellence of the object of focus. If done in this way, starting from "whoever has entered the stream," up to the wisdom and abandonment of an Arhat, that is the forbearance of a Bodhisattva. In this way, it is also shown that the forbearance abiding in non-characteristics is the eighth bhumi. Son of the lineage, well done, well done! Enduring the Buddha's dharmas in ultimate truth, that is what this refers to. Forbearance is also shown not to be momentary, and it is shown that the great is also momentary. Starting from the aggregates, etc., up to non-mixture, and the cessation of abiding, faith, and attention, this is because all dharmas have no abiding, faith, and attention, therefore it is an excellent aspect. If asked, how does one abide in that forbearance? Because of skillful means, by way of not abiding in it, it is shown to practice reversal from form, etc., up to non-mixture. Starting from "skillful means," the emptiness of form is not form, and emptiness is not other than form, it is shown that form, etc., and emptiness are mutually of the same essence. It is clearly shown that liberation from falling into the extremes of samsara and nirvana is skillful means. Furthermore, why does one not fall into samsara and nirvana? If one clings to some dharmas, it is a prohibition of clinging, because it is shown that all dharmas are without self-nature, therefore it is obtaining great forbearance. Great forbearance has been shown. Enduring the great dharma is called forbearance. After showing forbearance, in order to show the excellence of the dharma, Venerable Shariputra, also the Bodhisattva abiding in samadhis, starting from there, quickly attains unsurpassed perfect and complete
