It is not so. That is not doing yoga, because it is not completely perfect, so it will definitely not become all-knowing, as it is said. Completely grasping form, etc., is superior because of the aspect of emptiness, because the nature of grasping is blocked in those very things, as it is shown. The sutra for this is: Bhagavan, if form is not completely grasped, that is not form, because grasping the emptiness of self-nature, as it is said and so on. Among them, abandonment is because the realm of dharma is vast. Not making seven kinds is because of the object and appearance, because of the previous entry. Immeasurable is all-knowing. Determination is because of extreme determination. Not common with all the Shravakas, etc., as it is said: It is superior by object, appearance, cause, and grasping, as it is shown. How not to completely grasp all dharmas, then show. In all-knowingness, grasping the emptiness of all dharmas, because of not completely grasping. The sutra for this is: Bhagavan, that also does not completely grasp in all-knowingness, from inner emptiness to grasping the emptiness of the nature of non-things, and, that is said to be without characteristics. Samadhi is one-pointedness of mind, that is also a mandala, because it is the collection of other samadhis. Therefore, it temporarily shows the top becoming smaller. As it is said, all-knowingness is said to be without characteristics, thus characteristics are afflictions. Why are characteristics called afflictions? Because the aggregates such as form, and the aspects of enlightenment, etc., and the characteristics between the doors of form, are afflictions. The sutra for this is: Form is without characteristics. Feeling is without characteristics, as it is said, until the doors of dharanis are said to be characteristics, they are afflictions. Its characteristic is to be recognized as the characteristic of imputation that is not true.

How to determine that these signs are the afflictions of a Bodhisattva? Because it is said in the sutra that the sign of the wandering ascetic is the antidote to afflictions, this is the evidence. As it is said in the sutra: If he clings to signs, then the teaching of the wandering ascetic will not gain trust. The example of the wandering ascetic is that although they are related to the heretics, they stand up and, by the power of realization alone, make that meaning manifest, which is to be understood. If one asks: Will the sign of the wisdom of realization not be harmed for a while? Answer: The inner and so on are the third prevention that blocks the sight of wisdom. This sutra is: Wisdom is not truly seen inwardly, nor is wisdom truly seen outwardly, nor other than outwardly and inwardly. From then on, he does not cling to any dharma, but focuses on the signless and draws near to it. Again, why is it that all dharmas are not clung to? Answer: It is taught that not clinging to all dharmas is the Prajnaparamita. As it is said in the sutra: This is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Prajnaparamita, who focuses on not clinging to all dharmas. This shows the middle. Who? From where? Who? These are words of inquiry. Whatever dharma is nonexistent and invisible, that is the approximation of Prajnaparamita, because the order is reversed, therefore the Paramitas are nonexistent and invisible. Likewise, the aggregates such as form, etc., for the three omniscient ones and emptiness, and without anything to be taken or invisible, likewise, by observing closely, the mind does not shrink, does not fear, etc., does not abandon, it should be known that this is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Prajnaparamita. These show the great. This sutra is: Bhagavan, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices in the Prajnaparamita, he should not closely examine, but rather the Prajnaparamita itself.
