Therefore, through the distinction of Śrāvakas and Bodhisattvas, there are contaminated and uncontaminated ones. The aspect of knowing the path is contaminated because of the various contaminated aspects. Because Bodhisattvas do not have extremely vast afflictions. The aspect of knowing all aspects is solely uncontaminated. Because the perfectly complete Buddha is the one who knows all aspects of all dharmas. The aspects have been described. Explanation of Practice Now, the practice will be explained. Regarding this, first, the basis of practice, the practitioner, will be explained, and then this will be explained after that. Regarding this, there are four types of practitioners. What are they? "Respecting the Buddhas, generating roots of virtue in them, possessing the protection of virtuous friends, this is the vessel for listening." As it is said, as it is said, those who have attended and respected the previous victors, and those who have generated roots of virtue in the Tathāgatas, and those who are upheld by virtuous friends, are the vessels for listening to the Prajñāpāramitā. Taking, holding, reciting, making it understood, properly attending to it, and not having faith in them, etc., are spoken in terms of the basis of practice. "Relying on the Buddha and asking questions, practicing generosity, discipline, etc., taking and holding, etc., the noble ones consider them as vessels." This means that respecting many Buddhas, and asking questions universally, possessing the practice of the six perfections, are the vessels for those who take and hold, etc. The opposite of the cause as it is said, the cause of disbelief and arising is, Venerable Śāriputra, this Prajñāpāramitā is very profound. Regarding this, profoundness is merely the cause of not having faith, and its arising is the meaning of knowing the cause of the fault of making beings perverse. The nature of knowing all aspects, and the Prajñāpāramitā, etc., with mutual determination of arising and separation, then desire to transcend all omniscience, and the nature of knowing the path.

Wanting to abide, and wanting to generate omniscience, therefore, in various ways, it shows closeness to practicing it, so it is for the sake of showing practice and approaching establishment. Among them, omniscience is definitely born from the Prajnaparamita, because it is manifestly accomplished from it. The Prajnaparamita is also well distinguished by omniscience, because from it, the reality of its cause is clarified. Precisely because of this, it is said that they are truly born and well distinguished as they are. In order to eliminate the faults of the listener's distraction, the faults of wisdom, and the faults of weak intention, it is said, "Listen well and keep it in mind." There are also twenty kinds of practice, because of what? "Because form and so on do not abide, therefore, the practice is prevented there, its suchness is very deep, they are happy to measure, their measure is non-existent, diligent long-term realization, prophecy, therefore, non-regression, definite departure without interruption, Bodhi is as fast as the sun, benefiting others without increase or decrease, Dharma and non-Dharma are not seen, form and so on are inconceivable and not seen, form and so on, its characteristics and its nature are not distinguished, the fruit is a precious giver, it is pure and has boundaries." Thus it is said, is a synonym for practice. Among them, the practice of not abiding in form and so on is, when not abiding in form, it is practicing in form. Starting from "Thus," until preventing abiding between the eighteen unshared Buddha Dharmas, therefore, practicing in it is following and abiding. Why is that? Because whatever should be abided in and whatever should be practiced, such forms and so on are invisible, as it is said. Non-practice itself is practice, and again, not practicing in form, when not practicing in form, it is practicing in form, starting from "Thus," until not practicing in omniscience, it is practicing in it.

It is said thus, and why is that? Because (in the sutra) it is said that the prior limit of form, etc., is invisible. The profound conduct is that, by the meaning of not seeing the reality of form, etc., as profound in itself, in the context of the nature of knowing all, what is said as the perfection of wisdom is profound in itself. The immeasurable conduct is that, by the nature of form, etc., as immeasurable in itself, without the meaning of confusion, in the context of the nature of knowing the path, what is said as the immeasurable in itself. The limitless conduct is that, by the nature of form, etc., as limitless in itself, without the meaning of a definable limit, in the context of the nature of knowing all aspects, what is said as that is limitless in itself. It is also said that those are three kinds of conduct in the order of small, medium, and large. If it is not said, "Form is profound," "Form is immeasurable," and "Form is limitless," but starting from "Conduct the perfection of wisdom," the three conducts among the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha are prohibited, therefore those conducts are allowed. Why is that? Because what is the profound nature of form, what is the immeasurable nature, and what is the limitless nature, those are not from non-form to all the Buddha-dharmas, therefore it is shown that form, etc., are not the nature of those natures. Also, in terms of profound complete enlightenment, unshared complete enlightenment, and unsurpassed complete enlightenment, it should be known that there are three kinds of conduct, such as profound. The conduct of the great assembly attaining complete enlightenment due to timidity is said to be that the initial practitioners become between "and" and "I" because of the profound nature, because fear arises at first. Because of the immeasurable nature, they become universally fearful, because that abides even more. Because of the limitless nature, they become controlled by universal fear, because they become not a vessel for the Dharma of certain unawakened things. Therefore, it is said that it is allowed to speak those in front of the irreversible.
