Having made the Thus-Gone One arise with sixteen aspects, and having made it free in this, emptiness is connected with signlessness, wishes are completely abandoned, there is no birth and no cessation, etc., the nature of reality is completely unconfused, there is no accumulation and no non-discrimination, the nature of good discrimination is without characteristics, in terms of the occasion of knowing the path, it is considered to be these characteristics. Thus it is said. Among them, knowing emptiness, as well as signlessness, as well as wishlessness, that is to say, whatever is said to be the characteristic of emptiness and so on. Knowing no birth and no cessation, etc., that is to say, whatever is said to be the characteristic of no birth and no cessation, etc. The mention of "etc." is to include knowing that there is no complete affliction and no complete purification, as well as knowing that there are no things, as well as knowing self-nature, as well as knowing that there is no basis, as well as knowing the nature of space. Thus it is said, whatever is said to be the characteristic of no complete affliction and complete purification, etc. Knowing that the nature of reality is completely unconfused, because it is the nature of the world with gods, humans, and asuras, therefore whatever is said to be the nature of not being able to abandon that nature. Knowing that there is no manifest accumulation, that is to say, whatever is said to be the nature from form to omniscience is the nature of not being manifestly accumulated. Knowing that there is no discrimination, that is to say, by those characteristics, the objects of defilement, the mundane, and the conditioned, together with their opposites, are prevented, and by the example of space, the freedom of knowing the path is made to truly appear, whatever is said. Knowing good discrimination, that is, from the beginning of "even if the Thus-Gone One appears," up to the point of showing "by observing what, the Thus-Gone One attains complete enlightenment, and makes good discriminations of all characteristics, it is very rare," by the meaning of the fruit of benefiting sentient beings without change, whatever is said. Knowing no characteristics, as well as the characteristics of form, etc., can become form, etc., as well as the characteristics of the perfections such as giving completely.

and so on, meditation, uninterruptedness, and the characteristics of the formless samadhi's equipoise being unconfused, from the arising of the determination of the characteristics of the aspects of enlightenment, to the manifestation of the characteristics of omniscience, between the Tathagata's non-conceptual perfect enlightenment. Among them, meditation and the equipoise of the formless samadhi, relying on them to generate the noble path, therefore it should be known that they are characteristics of non-confusion. From this point onwards, how the Tathagata arises from the sixteen kinds of knowledge of omniscience, from that beginning: He relies on his own Dharma, abides and reveres, regards the teacher as supreme and rejoices, offers to him and is without action, what is the all-entering wise one, shows the unseen meaning, the aspect of the emptiness of the world, speaks and knows, makes manifest, inconceivable and peaceful, in the cessation of worldly perception, the manner of omniscience, is said to be the characteristic of wisdom. Thus it is proclaimed. Among them, knowing that the perfectly enlightened Buddha abides in that Dharma, it is said: Subhuti, by what means does he arise in such a way, by the cause of being the teacher, therefore the perfectly enlightened Buddha relies on and abides in this Dharma. Among them, reverence, regarding the teacher as supreme, rejoicing, knowing offering, performing service to that Dharma, performing reverence, performing respect, performing offering, is said to know action and experience action. Knowing non-action, it is said: Because of non-action, all dharmas are non-created and perfectly enlightened. Knowing all-pervading action, it is said: Again, the wisdom of non-action, enters by the indication of non-entry into all dharmas. Showing the unseen meaning, it is said: From focusing on form to focusing on omniscience, the meaning of the unarisen consciousness, because of not seeing, sees form.
