One should understand existence as it is. All dharmas are empty because of the emptiness of emptiness, therefore emptiness is the emptiness of emptiness. Knowing all dharmas to be empty means that here all dharmas are empty. That too, emptiness is the emptiness of emptiness, in order to abandon the conceptual thoughts that grasp onto it. The ten directions are the emptiness of the great because of the emptiness of direction, because they are very large in shape. The ultimate truth, nirvana, is empty because of the nature of the meaning of nirvana, therefore the ultimate truth is emptiness, because it is merely separation. Conditioned things and the three realms are the emptiness of conditioned things because of the emptiness of the desire realm and so on, because it is the very nature of not being fully established, therefore it is able to be an antidote. Unconditioned, unborn, unceasing, and the meaning of not changing from abiding, because it is empty of itself, the unconditioned is empty, because the reason for establishing the unborn and so on refutes the opposite of birth and so on. The extreme is empty because of the emptiness of the extreme, therefore, because of transcending the extreme, transcending the extreme is emptiness. The extreme is a part, and in those parts, whatever reason establishes the reason as an object by which to individually cut off, that is not at all in the middle of the extremes of permanence and annihilation. The beginning, middle, and end are empty of that, therefore the beginning and the end are emptiness, because the beginning and so on are born following the nature of dharma, therefore they are constant. The characteristic of abandoning, renouncing, and discarding, the opposite of abandoning is non-abandoning, and because it is empty of that, non-abandoning is emptiness, because the action of abandoning is not self-nature, therefore non-abandoning is not suitable as a reason for establishment. Because it is not done by all the noble ones, it is self-nature, and because it is empty of that, self-nature is emptiness, because there is no fault of harm from conditioned and unconditioned, changing and unchanging. Dharma is empty because of the emptiness of dharma, therefore all dharmas are emptiness, the dharma of conditioned and unconditioned.

All aggregates are interdependent, therefore they are devoid of inherent existence and are not fully established. The characteristics of form, such as being visible, are emptiness, so they are emptiness of their own characteristics. The general and specific characteristics that are defined are merely imputed. The past and other phenomena are emptiness of non-apprehension because they cannot be mutually reversed in the past and other times. The nature of the three times is merely imputed. Phenomena arising from combination are not inherently existent, because they are dependently originated. Therefore, combination is empty, so it is emptiness of the nature of non-things, because it is merely the nature of aggregation. The object of the characteristic of grasping is emptiness, so it is emptiness of things. The meaning of aggregates is the meaning of accumulation, and the meaning of accumulation is non-existence, so it should not become an object with the characteristic of grasping. Non-things, unconditioned phenomena, such as space, are emptiness, so they are emptiness of non-things, because it is established on things that obscure the dharma of things. What is called emptiness of inherent existence is the wisdom and view contemplated by the noble ones, so it is emptiness of its own nature, because wisdom and view clearly explain the true meaning as it is. Whether the Tathagatas appear or not, the dharmata of all dharmas abides, so it is empty of the agent other, so it is emptiness of other things. The actions of individuals who rely on emptiness are merely deterioration. In this way, the meaning of the chapter should also be explained for cases where the chapter sequence is incomplete. These are only expressing emptiness from the perspective of negating others, and there is no sequence of realization for these. If, according to those who say that only the meaning of the chapter should be explained, then the main thing becomes not the meaning of the treatise.

Therefore, in the context of emptiness, the order of abandoning and proceeding is cut off, and thus it is shown as the nature of the decline of purposeful activity. If asked, what is the object of non-discriminating wisdom? The answer is: all dharmas are emptiness. If it is said that the object to be focused on does not exist, like the child of a barren woman. This emptiness is also the object of non-discriminating wisdom, so it also does not exist. If so, would all dharmas become existent? The answer is: therefore, a little examination should be done here. Because it is free from all objects, this is only non-discriminating wisdom. However, the name of emptiness, nothing exists, as some say. Some think that because it abides in the nature of the two parts of the grasper and the grasped, it does not focus on one part. So they think. Sometimes it is said that its object is the emptiness of the nature of all dharmas. This is very reasonable. Why? Whoever focuses on the emptiness of the nature of all dharmas will transform, just as in a dream, consciousness focuses on the emptiness of the nature of horses and so on. For the previous views, wisdom will become the object of non-substantiality, and emptiness will also become a conditioned phenomenon. If asked whether the fault has been stated for the third view? The answer is: there is no fault. Why? If the killer is killed, Devadatta will not appear again. Although there are many distinctions to be explained, such as mirror-like wisdom, this establishment of the accumulation of wisdom is only a part. The accumulation of merit: Subhuti, in addition, this Mahayana of Bodhisattvas, for example, the samadhi called Heroic Progress, and even the samadhi that is liberated and without defilement because it is unattached like the sky. What is the samadhi called Heroic Progress? Answer: Any samadhi that experiences the realm of all samadhis, this is the samadhi called Heroic Progress. Thus, one hundred and one samadhis have been taught.
