A slight explanation: There is nothing to be removed. There is also nothing to be added. Look at the correct state with the correct state. If you see correctly, you will be completely liberated. This is considered good. It is said that this is the path of seeing in an instant. For example, each of the giving etc., and what is contained between them, through the forbearance of an instant, these contained are the path of seeing. As it is said in the Sutra of Subhuti: "Subhuti, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva completely dedicates the giving to the omniscient wisdom and practices giving." Starting from there, until practicing the Prajnaparamita, the six perfections are all fulfilled. Similarly, from abiding in the perfection of giving to abiding in the perfection of wisdom, these six each become six groups, a total of thirty-six kinds, mainly with the purity of the three wheels, all of these are spoken through mutual inclusion. The sutra here is: "Subhuti, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices giving, and abides in loving-kindness in body, speech, and mind towards sentient beings, this is the perfection of morality. Those who receive the giving insult him, and endure beatings and scoldings, this is the perfection of patience. Beggars insult him, and do not abandon the joy of giving despite reproaches, this is the perfection of diligence. Completely dedicating the giving to the omniscient wisdom, without the distracted mind of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, this is the perfection of meditation. When practicing giving, abiding with illusion-like wisdom, not seeing any benefit or harm, this is the perfection of wisdom." Similarly, from guarding the precepts to practicing wisdom, each fulfilling the six perfections, it should be narrated as it is said in the sutra. These, in groups of six, become thirty-six kinds. That is to say, when the forbearance of the path of seeing arises, towards desire, form, and formlessness.

Having seen that which is encompassed by the realm of the formless, the one hundred and eight afflictions to be abandoned, those encompassed by the four discriminations, will be abandoned. To gain mastery over that, entering into samadhi is: Thereafter, the lion stretches out well, enters into samadhi and meditates, observes both the conforming and non-conforming to the order of dependent arising, and reflects on what is reasonable and unreasonable. This is its meaning. Among them, conforming to the order is "Conditioned by ignorance are the formations," and so forth. Non-conforming to the order is "If that is not, then there will be no sorrow and lamentation," and so forth. The path of seeing has been explained. Explanation of the Four Discriminations of the Path of Meditation and its Opponents. Now, I will explain the four discriminations of the opponents of the path of meditation. First, I will explain the path of meditation, and then I will explain this. The path of meditation is also encompassed by the nine successively abiding absorptions, and those are also encompassed by the sudden transcendence absorption. Therefore, in order to indicate it definitively, it is briefly summarized, and what is said in terms of the path of meditation is: The nine samadhis with cessation, having gone back and forth in two ways, the consciousness that discerns as desired, taking the boundary of non-equanimity, the absorption that transcends suddenly, one, two, three, four, and five, having transcended six, seven, and eight, goes differently until cessation. That is what is said. "Two ways" means conforming and non-conforming to the order. As it is said: Thereafter, having entered the samadhi of the lion stretching out well, after separately discriminating dependent arising, with the nine successively abiding absorptions, and with the mind not in equanimity, in conforming and non-conforming to the order, one, two, three, four, five, seven, eight, and nine, manifesting the sudden transcendence absorption, as desired, one gains much mastery, so it is said. This sutra is: Subhuti! Here, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is secluded from desires, secluded from unwholesome dharmas.

Accompanied by investigation, accompanied by seeking, the first dhyana with joy and pleasure born of seclusion, having closely cultivated, one dwells. Similarly, up to the attainment of cessation of perception and feeling, having cultivated, one dwells. Having arisen from that attainment of cessation, one enters the attainment of the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. Having arisen from that, one enters the attainment of the sphere of nothingness. Then, one enters the attainment of the sphere of infinite consciousness. Then, one enters the attainment of the sphere of infinite space. Then, one enters the fourth dhyana. Then, the third. Then, the second. Then, one enters the first dhyana. Having released that lion-like springing samadhi, one enters the surpassing samadhi. Subhuti, what is the surpassing samadhi of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva? Here, a Bodhisattva, from entering the first dhyana, similarly enters up to cessation. Having arisen from that, one dwells having closely cultivated the first dhyana. Then, one enters cessation. Then, one enters the second dhyana. Then, cessation. Then, the third. Then, cessation. Then, the fourth. Then, cessation. Then, the sphere of infinite space. Then, cessation. Then, the sphere of infinite consciousness. Then, cessation. Then, the sphere of nothingness. Then, cessation. Then, the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. Having arisen from that, one enters the attainment of cessation. Having arisen from that, one enters the attainment of the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. Having arisen from that, one makes the mind equipoised in the desire realm. From the equipoised mind, one enters cessation. Having arisen from that, one dwells in a non-equipoised mind. Then, one enters the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. Having arisen from that, one dwells in a non-equipoised mind. Then, one enters the sphere of a little nothingness. Then, one dwells in a non-equipoised mind. Thus.
