And declared the melodious voice, and completely abides in the Great Vehicle. That is what he said. The practice of entering is finished. The practice of accumulation is explained. Now the practice of accumulation is to be explained. As it is said in the scriptures, with the distinctions of accumulation such as great compassion, it can be divided into seventeen types. Namely: six such as love and generosity, calm abiding and insight together, the path of union, skillful means, wisdom and merit, the path and dharani and the ten grounds, the antidote is the order of the practice of accumulation, it should be known. That is to say, there are seventeen types of accumulation practice, namely: the accumulation of great compassion, the accumulation of generosity, the accumulation of morality, the accumulation of patience, the accumulation of diligence, the accumulation of meditation, the accumulation of wisdom, the accumulation of calm abiding, the accumulation of insight, the accumulation of the dual path, the accumulation of skillful means, the accumulation of wisdom, the accumulation of merit, the accumulation of the path, the accumulation of dharani, the accumulation of grounds, the accumulation of antidotes. Among them, the accumulation of great compassion is: the Bhagavan put on the great armor. What does it mean to put on the great armor? What does it mean for a Bodhisattva Mahasattva to put on the great armor? By showing the reason contained in this word, thereby grasping the practice of accumulation. That is, in each of the ten directions, beings as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, in the realms of hell, animals, and Yama, illuminate them with the light of their own bodies, and pacify their suffering. Let them be able to prostrate to the Buddha and so on, and by this cause, liberate them from those evil paths, and until they attain enlightenment, they can obtain good rebirths that are in accordance with the Buddha's mind. That is what he said. Because the form of being free from suffering is compassion. The accumulation of generosity is: giving food and other necessities to those beings who want to get food and other necessities, and proclaiming the Dharma to them, thereby making them

Until enlightenment, it is said to be inseparable from the six perfections. The collection of ethics is that only for such a number of sentient beings, from the ten virtuous paths of action and samadhi, etc., to the eighteen unshared dharmas of the Buddha, it is thoroughly established. It is said that even those sentient beings are inseparable from the teachings until complete enlightenment. The collection of patience is that if all sentient beings strike me with stones, sticks, clods, fists, and palms, and stab me with weapons, I will not generate even a little bit of anger towards them, thinking in this way and abiding in my own patience, this is what is said. The collection of diligence is that such a number of sentient beings, by generating the mind endowed with all-knowingness, cause the diligence of body and mind to be taken up and engaged in, and thoroughly established, which means to correctly determine, establish, and express the meaning of completeness and absence of deficiency, this is what is said. The collection of samadhi is that only for such a number of sentient beings, abiding in oneself, without seeing any dharma as distracted or undistracted, until complete enlightenment, causing them to be held and engaged in this, and established, this is what is said. The collection of wisdom is that just as oneself does not fixate on this shore or the other shore in any dharma, so too cause them to correctly hold and engage in this, and establish, this is what is said. Among them, this shore is samsara, because children only find joy in this. The other shore is nirvana, because those who focus on their own benefit only find joy in the perfection of the diligence of practice. The collection of tranquility is that, again, just as oneself abides in perfection, so too cause such a number of sentient beings to hold and engage in the six perfections, the dharmas of the path to enlightenment, and from the fruit of stream-entry, etc., to the eighteen unshared dharmas of the Buddha, and even the Buddha himself, and establish them, aiming at the realm of sentient beings that is not completely cut off.
