One should see the death and birth of sentient beings with the divine eye. The divine ear is connected with the object. Its object is encompassed by the sounds of the sentient beings just mentioned. Knowing the minds of others is connected with the object. Its object is encompassed by the minds of the sentient beings just mentioned. Remembering past lives is connected with the object, and its object is encompassed by the past lives of the sentient beings just mentioned. In order to understand the realm of magical powers and its connection with the object, the practice of Prajnaparamita is prohibited. Its object is completely encompassed by the basic object of the sentient beings just mentioned. Such practice enables immeasurable realms of sentient beings to be completely liberated from suffering, demons cannot find opportunities, worldly afflictions are eliminated, and the Buddhas, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and gods who are now residing in the ten directions are protected. With the nature of seeing the Dharma, which has the cause of love, karmic obscurations are completely purified, and the doors of Dharani and Samadhi are manifested in a short time. In all lifetimes up to the Bodhi tree, one can please all the Buddhas. Because one does not cling to all Dharmas, meeting and separation are prohibited. Because one does not cling to the Dharmadhatu, they are prohibited from quickly manifesting Bodhi. Because one does not engage in various actions, one does not cling to the Dharma to be realized and the Dharma of the realizers. It is prohibited to combine emptiness and non-emptiness in the Dharmadhatu. It is prohibited to combine the eighteen realms, such as the eye, with emptiness or in other ways. Transcending the realms of the Shravakas and others, making the Buddha-field completely pure, making sentient beings completely mature, and because it is the cause of quickly attaining the Unsurpassed Perfect Enlightenment, the Yoga of Emptiness is praised as the most excellent.

It is said to be "not arising" because it does not generate miserliness and other such thoughts. As for the statement "eliminating worldly afflictions," worldly afflictions are those that are composed of ignorance, views, and outflows. Bodhisattvas engage in yoga because they are deeply engrossed in these from the root. Although fully understanding the outflows of desire, they consciously take birth in the desire realm in order to fully ripen sentient beings. Although fully understanding the outflows of existence, they consciously fully grasp the outflows of existence. Furthermore, bodhisattvas should not be said to be with or without afflictions. Why? Because they do not universally engage in afflictions, they should not be said to be with afflictions. And because the desire and intention for the manifestation of the Tathagata's wisdom are not yet fully complete, they should not be said to be without afflictions. This is what is said in the scriptures. The Sangha Jewel here should be understood as the Sangha of non-returning Bodhisattvas. They also become the four pairs of eight types of persons due to the distinction of entering and abiding in the fruition. In summary, it also includes the eighth person, etc., because it is spoken from the perspective of the eighth person. "Bhagavan, from where did this Bodhisattva who abides in the perfection of wisdom pass away and be born here? And from here, where will the keen-minded one be born after passing away?" In this regard, for those who understand the path itself, the sixteen moments of the path of seeing will be explained. Among those sixteen moments, the Bodhisattva who has dull faculties is called a follower of faith, because he follows that path with faith. The one with sharp faculties is called a follower of dharma, because he follows that path with wisdom. Because it is spoken from the perspective of the follower of faith, it is said: Shariputra, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who passes away from among humans and is born in a place equal to humans, that must be none other than a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva.
