One should not properly see conformity in things that possess characteristics. Form is also properly seen as being in harmony with feeling. Thus, it is said, "One should not properly see it as a real substance," and so on. Why is that? Shariputra, like this, the emptiness of form is not form, and so on. Why is that? Shariputra, like this, form is not other than emptiness, and emptiness is not other than form. Form is emptiness, and emptiness is form, and so on. This eliminates the two extremes of superimposition and defamation. Speaking with the intention of the truth of cessation: Shariputra, emptiness is unborn and unceasing, not defiled, not purified, not decreasing, not increasing, not past, not future, not present. Whatever is like this, there is no form in bliss, no feeling, and so on, up to the point where ignorance does not arise, and ignorance does not cease. There is no stream-enterer, no fruit of stream-entry, and so on, up to the point where there is no Buddha, no Bodhisattva. Speaking with the intention of the truth of the path: When one practices the Perfection of Wisdom, one should not properly see whether one is diligent or not diligent in the Perfection of Giving to oneself, and so on. Because the six perfections are known as the path, it is the path. Furthermore, the aspects that are properly gathered by the three doors of liberation are the path. As it is said: One does not combine emptiness with emptiness, the yoga of emptiness is the path. One does not combine signlessness with signlessness, the yoga of signlessness is not the path. One does not combine wishlessness with wishing, the yoga of wishlessness is not the path, and so on. This shows that the truth of the path is non-conceptual. In that, one does not combine form with the previous limit, and so on. Why is that? Shariputra, like this, a Bodhisattva

Beginning with "The former limit is not truly seen afterwards." Starting from "That was seen before." One should not connect the former limit with the latter limit. One should not connect the latter limit with the former limit. Why is that? Because the three times are equal. This shows the definitive emergence of the path. What needs to be determined? It is the omniscience itself. Because it transcends omniscience, it is not connected. Like this, it is said that "the past itself is not truly seen afterwards," and so on. The teachings on the truth have been explained. // Then, what is the teaching on the Three Jewels? That should be understood as the teaching on the Three Jewels. Among them, the dharmas that lead to Buddhahood are the Buddhas, and that is also truly encompassed by omniscience. It is said that when practicing the Prajnaparamita, one should not connect form with omniscience. Why is that? Because form itself is emptiness, and emptiness itself is form. Because of this, the dharmas and their emptiness are considered to be mutually of one nature. Among them, mantra prevents the extreme of permanence, and the other prevents the extreme of annihilation. By the power of the Four Noble Truths, in the context of the truth of suffering, the distinction of the object of non-abiding is that, O Bhagavan, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita, he should not abide in the thought that form is impermanent. From "form is peaceful" to "should not abide" is explained extensively. Why is that? O Bhagavan, it is said that form is impermanent because form is empty by its very impermanence. Among them, abiding is the mind's reliance on objects. This should be applied here. If merely not abiding is not to be abided in, then because there is nothing, there is no need for an antidote. If it is not abiding, then it is too extreme. Manifestly

Likewise, it should be viewed in the same way as how it is explained regarding the absence of manifest clinging. The difference in aspects is: O Bhagavan, the emptiness of the very impermanence of form, that is also not the very impermanence, nor is there emptiness apart from the very impermanence, like this, the very impermanence and so on, and their emptiness, mutually possessing the characteristic differences of that entity. That is, thus, form itself should not be truly seen accordingly, from not combining omniscience with the Buddha, that is, thus, the Buddha himself should not be truly seen accordingly. Why is that? The Buddha himself is omniscience, omniscience itself is also the Buddha. Bodhi itself is omniscience, omniscience itself is also Bodhi, this is saying that the wisdom of the equality of the object and the subject is the Buddha, thus it is completely revealed. Regarding the Dharma Jewel, what is said is: When he practices the Prajnaparamita, he should not combine the statement "form is existent," he should not combine the statement "form is non-existent," he should not combine the statement "form is permanent" and the statement "form is impermanent," like this and so on. The Dharma is free from attachment, therefore, in order to show that at all times it is free from attachment, what is said is: The Bodhisattva, for the sake of the perfection of generosity, should not practice the Prajnaparamita, thus it is prohibited, for the sake of all perfections, the practice of Prajnaparamita is prohibited, similarly, on the irreversible ground, for the sake of completely ripening sentient beings, for the sake of completely purifying the Buddha-field, for the sake of the powers, the fearlessnesses, the perfect knowledge of individual actions, the unmixed qualities of the Buddhas, from inner emptiness to the emptiness of the nature of non-things, as well as suchness, the realm of Dharma, the limit of reality, together with the object of the divine eye, and its object, each of the ten directions, the world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges.
