Ḍo! Explanation of the Increase of the Manifest Realization of the Peak. Now, what is its increase? As it is said: "The beings of Jambudvipa, the merit of offering to the Buddhas, etc., are shown with various examples, and are the sixteen increases themselves." Among them, the first increase is this: With the number of sentient beings in Jambudvipa, making offerings and services to the Tathāgatas, and dedicating that root of virtue to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, is more virtuous than showing this Prajñāpāramitā to others. Being inseparable from the Prajñāpāramitā-related mental activity is the very increase of merit. Similarly, with the number of sentient beings in the three-thousand great-thousand world realm, establishing them in unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, and dedicating that root of virtue to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, surpasses the former, and the latter's merit increases even more. Why is that? Because the Tathāgata abides in love, compassion, asceticism, equanimity, etc. The above is what was said. The second is: For example, a person finds a great precious jewel that he has never found before, but then loses it again. This illustrates the mental activity of focusing solely on the Prajñāpāramitā, and since all mental activities are empty in nature, it is impossible to be inseparable from them. If all dharmas have such a nature and are inseparable, then one begins to prevent the increase and decrease of the Prajñāpāramitā, thereby proving inseparability. The above is what was said. The third is: Starting from "Subhūti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva practices in the Prajñāpāramitā, there is no increase or decrease," Subhūti, this is because the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas have obtained the tolerance of non-arising dharmas. Subhūti, a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva who possesses such tolerance is unsurpassed.

English

It is impossible to obtain the wisdom and great wisdom of the perfectly complete Buddha, and the wisdom of knowing all aspects. Why is that? Because, like this, until one attains the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, one will be devoted to it. This is what the Buddha said. The fourth is: World Honored One, will the Bodhisattva Mahasattva be prophesied to attain unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment for the sake of all dharmas being unborn? Subhuti, it is not so. Starting from "unattainable," the dharma to be realized and the one who realizes are not perceived. Why is that? Because, the Bodhisattva who practices this does not have such discriminations. Why is that? Because, the highest realization has no discrimination for the Prajnaparamita. This is what the Buddha said. The fifth is that for those who diligently practice Prajnaparamita, the roots of evil are prevented from being associated with evil, therefore, the many merits accumulated by learning it, and compared to the beings of Jambudvipa who obtain the path of the ten virtuous actions, dhyana, and formless attainments, those who diligently practice this dharma, their merits increase even more. Why is that? Because, in all the worlds, the Shravakas and others, and the Bodhisattvas who are not skilled in means, are all overwhelmed by it and will surely be liberated from it. This is what the Buddha said. The sixth is that by practicing in this way, all the assemblies of gods will feel delighted, and it prevents the harm caused by others and the diseases caused by the imbalance of the elements. This is what the Buddha said. The seventh is that during the learning period, the Bodhisattva may fall into the stage of Shravakas, etc., or attain unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, whichever one is attained, the demons of the three thousand great thousand worlds will be in doubt, and they will be tormented by the pain of sorrow, and they will be like meteors.
