Similarly, after committing the five inexpiable sins, as well as various sins, the mantra practitioner also desires to attain siddhi. The one who is extremely joyful and harmonious calls himself a yogi, always delighting in arrogance, and delighting in the law of cause and fabrication. Relying on speaking secret mantras, they will argue with each other, argue in the assembly, and behave like dogs consuming food, displaying the behavior of dogs, pigs, and crows. Without understanding the Guhyasamaja, they practice vows and so on, without guarding secrets, they reveal everything in all situations. Because they do not practice self-restraint, they will break their vows. Because of slight faults, they will engage in fierce subjugation. Completely abandoning their own vows, they act like they have no iron hook. Through the combination of mantras and mudras, they will make a living by this. Wherever they can gain profit, they will proclaim the holy Dharma. In order to properly subdue them, the secret intention is explained. For those who have broken their vows and preach, use this to summon them all. Thus it was said.\ Also, in the Tenth Truth of Reality, it is said: Due to desire, hatred, and ignorance, whoever is bound by wrong views, after killing beings, looks down and goes to Avici hell. Thus it was said. Among them, the intention of showing falsehood and so on, also in the Intention Prophecy Sutra, it is said: Internally and externally, thus showing the two kinds of dependent origination, that is, the yogi who likes to lie, who dwells where there is no dwelling. The wisdom of the perfect Buddha, that is what should be followed, stealing it and what is the way, is to covet the wealth of others. Whoever is the only reality, always united with suchness, sentient beings like that desire, and become saints of supreme practice. Showing words that do not have aggregates and so on, whatever is unequal, harsh words and so on, if the yogi learns that meaning, he will quickly attain enlightenment. Thus it was said. Like this, not understanding the meaning of those who have intention, but only following the words and practicing the faults, the teacher Yeshe Drakpa also said: Just relying on words.

With minds attached to greed and the like, whatever non-virtuous deeds are done, they go from bad to worse. Thus it is said. Then, how is it that the Thus-gone One also possesses perfect enjoyments such as consorts and princes, and demonstrates the way of enjoying them? That is because the Thus-gone One is not controlled by afflictions, and does not actually enjoy desires among retinues such as princes and consorts. Rather, it is to eliminate the arrogance of gods such as the Lord of Desire, who are arrogant due to enjoying sons and wives, etc. By demonstrating retinues and enjoyments that are even more excellent than those gods, it causes them to rejoice, be free from arrogance, and develop longing for the perfection of the Thus-gone One. It is shown so that they may diligently cultivate the immeasurable causes of it, as well as the six perfections, etc., in order to attain it. The Thus-gone One does not act in this way out of greed, hatred, or delusion. Now, desiring to explain the vows, it is said for that purpose: The root vows should be known as fourfold. It is said, what are those? It is also said: Possessing correct view, not abandoning the Three Jewels, possessing bodhicitta, and not abandoning pure empowerment. Thus it is said. Among them, not slandering cause and effect, and believing in the ripening of karma, whether it is this teaching or an outsider, it is the vow of all those who desire higher realms and liberation, so it is called the root. Therefore, if one becomes devoid of correct view, it should be said that all vows are broken and destroyed. Furthermore, taking refuge in the Three Jewels and not believing in other gods is the uncommon vow of those who have entered this teaching. When he abandons the Three Jewels, it should be said that all the vows of this teaching of his are broken and destroyed. Furthermore, when one who abides on a special basis generates the great mind of enlightenment from then on, that is when one has taken the extremely special root vow. When he abandons the mind of enlightenment, then all the vows of the Great Vehicle are broken from the root.
