Non-thought means abandoning the mental activities that are preceded by desire, hatred, ignorance, pride, jealousy, and so on. Moreover, it is said in the tantras that when engaging in the practice of mantra to fully ripen one's own mindstream, one should abandon unsuitable places, non-companions, non-objects, and non-thoughts. "Focus single-pointedly on the meaning of the object" means that during meditative equipoise, one should focus single-pointedly on one's own nature or the nature of the deity, and when rising, one should act with the attitude of seeing everything as illusory. "This is the condition for swift enlightenment, shown to be the third" means this, referring to this practice. "Condition for swift enlightenment" means the condition that brings about the manifestation of accomplishment. "Third" means the third in relation to the practice of entering and combining. Now, to explain what the nature of these three practices is and what the main cause is. Among them, the practice of entering is like a field for the birth of actual accomplishment. The practice of combining is like a sprout arising from a fertile field with seeds. The practice of accomplishing is like a collection of grains ripening. The main thing in all of these practices is that the mind, ripened by many good deeds in previous lives, is like a seed, so it abides as a supreme cause. This shows that among the three causes previously explained in detail, the practice of entering, like a good field, makes the mind a field for the birth of actual accomplishment. The practice of combining is like a sprout arising from a fertile field with seeds. The practice of accomplishing is like grains gradually ripening. Because in all these practices, the most important thing is the mind ripened by many good deeds in past lives, it is like a seed, so it abides in a supreme cause. Since it has already been explained in detail above, it is not repeated again. So, what kind of result will a mantra practitioner who possesses such complete causes and conditions obtain? The mantra practitioner can completely suppress the grounds, reach the peak with the five superknowledges, the pure Buddha

Go to the middle. (Tibetan) Thus it is said. Like that, the mantra practitioner who possesses perfect causes and conditions can far surpass the various aspects of this life, play with the five superknowledges, and also go to the Akanishta heaven in this very life, or be able to go to the pure Buddha-fields such as Sukhavati. So, among those actions with perfect causes and conditions, what is the main agent? In this regard, (Tibetan) corresponding to the action, similar to the author, it should be known that there are three types. (Tibetan) Thus it is said. So, what are these three? It is extremely fierce diligence, the mind focused on one point, and having the correct view. Among them, extremely fierce diligence is like having a fire on the head, extremely diligently extinguishing the flames, wholeheartedly dedicating oneself to virtue. The mind focused on one point means that when focusing, even if there is rain, sunshine, wind, drumming, blowing conch shells, etc., it does not waver. Having the correct view means not slandering cause and effect, and believing in the maturation of karma. Like that, what is the accomplished siddhi with action? (Tibetan) This refers to, so what kind of siddhi is achieved by practicing various austerities like that? When asked, it is shown by body, place, and enjoyment, etc. Surpassing humans. (Tibetan) refers to the body surpassing humans, such as having a golden complexion, adorned with marks and signs, etc. Place and enjoyment refer to heavenly palaces, etc., and enjoying the Dharma, etc. Being in control of lifespan means that if one wants to live for a kalpa, one can, and if one sees the benefit of sentient beings, one can also take another body. Liberation from non-leisure means that from the eight non-leisure states, if one sees the benefit of sentient beings, one can take birth according to one's own wishes, which is possible. But one will not be born in those places due to karma and afflictions. Meeting the appearance of the Buddha, etc. (Tibetan) refers to meeting the appearance of the Buddha in all lifetimes, or meeting the abiding of the Buddha's excellent teachings. The word "etc." includes Bodhi.
