Moreover, one should never teach the sacred Dharma to those whose conduct is improper and who have lost their capacity as vessels. As it is said, "One should never teach the sacred Dharma to those whose conduct is improper, to those who have lost their capacity as vessels." Furthermore, when seeking Suchness, one should first say that all exists. After understanding the meanings and being without attachment, then after that is solitude. As it is said, one should not necessarily connect everything with emptiness only at the beginning. Because those with weak wisdom will abandon it because of that, thereby causing them to fall into hell and other evil destinies, in order to avoid that. Moreover, one should not speak of emptiness in all circumstances because of a desire for emptiness and merit. If it is applied in an inappropriate place, nectar will turn into poison. Furthermore, if one views emptiness incorrectly, those with little wisdom will collapse. Just as one grasps illusion incorrectly, or one practices mantra incorrectly. Furthermore, if one does not understand these, foolish people will pretend to be wise. Because of clinging to the self that should be abandoned, they will fall headfirst into the Avīci hell. Therefore, the teacher should first generate great compassion, and vow to be the student of all beings, and also tame those who are arrogant and difficult to tame. As it is said, "Through being the student of some, and being the teacher of some, the wise tame beings with various skillful methods, that is skillful means." Those who are difficult to practice should be treated with love only through effort. As it is said, "Just as a mother feels particularly distressed for a sick son, likewise Bodhisattvas are particularly affectionate towards those who are not virtuous." That is what is said. One should never allow students to enter Suchness arbitrarily, because it says here, "All the fully enlightened Buddhas always do not approve of students being self-made, just as a blind person climbing a mountain arbitrarily will not feel comfortable." The scriptures say that for what has been completely examined, it is not a negation of arbitrariness, because it is precisely through complete examination that the wise enter deeply in all circumstances. Through entering deeply, he will truly be recognized as a guru, and will definitely be combined with meditation. Thus, the Victorious Ones have said. In this regard, one should first accept those who possess the fortune of external signs. As it is said, "Even ordinary people can, in emptiness, obtain joy in moment after moment, and experience great joy and unwavering tears."

Also, the hair of the body will rise. Whoever has the seed of enlightenment should be shown it. If he becomes a vessel for the teachings, then the ultimate truth should be shown to him. Because of his lineage, he will generate merit. The qualities of the characteristic of the seed of emptiness should also be spoken of there, and whoever is diligent in emptiness should know that he is diligent in emptiness. Whoever is diligent in this should practice its meaning, that is, he should always practice perfect morality, give alms and show compassion, be patient and dedicate the roots of virtue to enlightenment, and also make dedications to liberate beings, respect Bodhisattvas, and be skilled in the profound and vast principles, and so on. Thus, one should abide well on the path of the Guru, generate the pure intention to benefit all beings, and he will become the guide of all beings, and be known as the only one like the Guru in the three realms. The determination of the conduct of the teacher in entering into suchness, composed by the teacher Yeshe Drakpa, is the end of the second chapter. Now, meditation will be taught, that is: one's own words and valid cognition, and whatever does not contradict the scriptures, that is what is practiced in meditating on that meaning, the meditation relied upon by the Guru. Meditation is that which does not contradict one's own words and valid cognition, is closely related to the scriptures, and is the practice of the objects taught by the Gurus. This is also another of the common ones. Among them, the meditation of the union of the Great Seal is the common practice of the yogis, because all perfections arise from it. Meditation is for the sake of the manifestation of the fruit, and the fruit is also characterized by accomplishing the benefit of others, and is the totality that includes all nine meditations. That is to say, one must remove the two obscurations of all sentient beings and perfect the nature of Samantabhadra. Furthermore, due to the difference in the intentions of the beings to be tamed, one is able to skillfully teach yoga, conduct, and the Great Seal, mandalas, and mantras, etc., which arise from the differences, and is the same as the Buddha.
