, that is because one enters without abandoning desire and so on. Furthermore, the Blessed One said in the chapter on ethics: A Bodhisattva may even violate the ten virtues. For example, for the sake of a woman who seeks desire, if a Bodhisattva needs to give up his life, then he should preserve her life by indulging her desires and so on. Similarly, if one sees someone committing great evil, even causing them to lose their life will not cause them to fall into evil destinies, but will instead generate much merit. Therefore, if desire and so on are inherently faulty, how can they not be the cause of falling into evil destinies? And how can it be said that they generate extremely great merit? Then, those are not inherently faulty, but rather generate differences in qualities from the differences in the continuum of the individual. For example, if a Ketaka flower is eaten by a fragrant elephant, it will become like musk when digested; if it is eaten by another elephant, it will become impure when digested. Therefore, that is not the fault of the Ketaka flower. Similarly, desire and so on, due to the difference in intention, will generate special fruits for those who abide in a pure continuum. For example, if milk is drunk by a Rakshasa and so on, it will become like poison when digested; if it is drunk by another person, it will become like nectar. Similarly, desire and so on also depend on the difference in intention and generate special fruits, because they are not inherently faulty. The statement of reasoning is: Whatever special continuum it depends on, it will generate special fruits, like the Ketaka flower and so on. Because it is desire and so on that abides in a superior continuum, this is called the nature of reasoning. Here, merely the complete enjoyment and conformity of a special continuum will generate the attainment of special fruits, just like the final collection of causes. Any

That which is related to the very nature of something is because it does that, because there is no obstruction. If there is an obstruction, it is not reliable. Here, the special perfection is because it does not depend on others, so it is related to just that. Moreover, there is no staying, there is no obstruction. The ultimate of no staying is: no staying is because it does not depend on others. Thus, with the certainty of just that and being related, it is explained as the reason for self-nature. Just as the process of alchemy is such that when the alchemist becomes accustomed to the power of alchemy, a particularly excellent other form is born. Similarly, by strengthening the power of the essence of copper and mercury, the creation of another form of meaning is faultless and of an irreversible nature. Similarly, this should also be understood here. Otherwise, copper and mercury will not be transformed. Thus, by seeing that power, it is understood that its existence is clear. Otherwise, there would be no power anywhere. That is also like: Like the supreme form of gold-transforming elixir, taking this impure body and transforming it into the body of the Victorious One, transforming it into something precious and priceless, therefore, hold firmly to what is called Bodhicitta. With merit, the body is happy, with wisdom, the mind is happy, even if one remains in samsara for the sake of others, how can the compassionate ones be sad? It is said. Furthermore, just as some individuals who have achieved alchemy, through the combination of special medicines, obtain the great nature of its qualities, and also the five clairvoyances will arise, and in this way, they also perform the qualities of abiding as long as samsara exists. Similarly, why not accept that the alchemy that arises truly from fully enjoying a special object, that is, the activities of aspiration prayers done until the end of samsara, and the collection of qualities of striving for the benefit of others, is transformed by the alchemy of Bodhicitta? Furthermore, by eliminating the six realms of beings and afflictions, one obtains supreme enlightenment.

Yes. If afflictions are rampant, it is impossible to obtain self-healing. Therefore, in order for you to attain enlightenment, be diligent and steadfast, and abandon afflictions like discarding unburnt firewood. If you hold your afflictions with mindfulness and wisdom, you will accomplish various virtues. If those afflictions are abandoned, they will also be close to the cause of enlightenment. In this way, it will not make your mind a desolate land, and it will also make the cycle of rebirths of all sentient beings a field of merit. Furthermore, how does the meditation on the wisdom of omniscience, which abides at the ultimate peak, arise from that which is with conceptualization or from that which is without conceptualization? If it is said that it arises temporarily from that which is without conceptualization, then how can that which is necessarily born from the power of conceptualization in meditation be that which is without conceptualization? It is not possible for the wisdom of non-conceptualization to arise from that which is with conceptualization. However, if it is said that it is without conceptualization because the propensities of afflictions and near afflictions have turned back, then that is not reasonable. Why? When the propensities of afflictions and near afflictions turn back, what else is there that becomes non-conceptual? Because there is no other way to measure other than that. There is nothing established by measurement in that either. It is also not directly perceived, because it is necessarily born from the power of the senses, appearances, attention, and objects. There is also nothing that demonstrates a consciousness that is separate from the object, the subject, and the appearance of the subject, because it is the opposite of that. It is also not by inference, because it is necessary to first grasp the relationship between the sign and the sign-possessor. If that consciousness, which is liberated from both the object and the subject, does not exist, then the sign called the effect or the nature will not be perceived. The reason for non-perception is also not that which causes it to be realized, because that negation is the object itself. In that case, the reason for the effect is not established,
