Raised in the manner of... Om, Sham Kare, Maha Samaye, Svaha)," which is the mantra and mudra of the great samaya. Then consecrate with three mudras. Then, as before, recite the mantra and place it in the vase. Restore the samaya by placing the hands together in the back, with the thumbs and little fingers intertwined, and placing them directly in front of the navel. Om, Vajra-born, Svaha)," which fulfills and restores the samaya of the Vajra family. Offer a bath for the body. Offer the water for washing the feet. First offer the five kinds of incense, as well as the wish-fulfilling jewel and the seven precious substances, and offer elaborate offerings. Then praise: The nature of reality is emptiness, non-duality, and suchness, yet it does not abandon the ways of worldly conduct. Showing the terrifying form with skillful means, I prostrate and praise the assembly of great wrathful ones who blaze fiercely. Although not moving from the state of peaceful wisdom, the appearance of the body is that of a fearsome devourer. The sound of speech is like the roar of a thousand dragons. I prostrate and praise the one who completely subdues all. Manifesting the play of divine wisdom, holding many threatening weapons in hand, destroying various great poisons of afflictions, I prostrate and praise the one adorned with ornaments of poisonous snakes. The great fierce one blazes like the fire of the eon's end. The wrathful frown is like a transformation of a thousand lightning bolts. The terrifying roar resounds like a thousand dragons. I prostrate and praise the wrathful king who subdues the hordes of obstacles. From the midst of the eon's end blazing like fire, he dwells in the posture of a hero, extending and contracting. With the angry gaze of eyes blazing like the sun and moon, he burns the armies of obstacles. I prostrate and praise the one who accomplishes this. Then, as if arising from the excellent warrior, with the deities of the east, the Vajra-holder, and so forth, and the deities of the powerful Vajra-holder, and so forth, make offerings of torma and praise to the guardians of the directions. To whatever beings dwell on the summit of Mount Meru, and so forth, give offerings of torma to the beings. Then allow that person to bathe, give them water to sprinkle and drink, allow close contact, and have them put on clean clothes. Have them prostrate to both the mandala and the mantra-holder, and with a garland of flowers in hand, request the great mantra-holder to consider: I, in order to be liberated from suffering, take refuge in the Vajra-holder and his retinue. I, with reverence...

I prostrate! Repeat this three times. Then the mantra holder should praise the deities of the mandala: Just as in the past, in the palace of the Sugata, for the purpose of subduing the wicked, whatever special activities were instructed by Vajrapani, may those vowed activities be accomplished. For that purpose, just as obstacles and wrong views are cut off, in order to protect these miserable beings, completely eliminating suffering and placing them in supreme bliss, Wrathful King, please bestow your blessings here today. Then place the being on kusha grass, and dispel obstacles with the mantra of the wicked, reciting from Namo Ratna Trayaya (Sanskrit: Namo Ratna Trayaya, meaning: Homage to the Three Jewels) to Hum Phat (Sanskrit: Hum Phat, meaning: Hum Phat). Then cleanse with the activity vase, purifying all sins, and from "all sins are purified" to "completely liberated from all sins," recite the benefits of bathing and bathe them. Then, on a three-cubit bathing platform, leave two cubits empty, and on half a cubit, arrange the direction protectors on a divine cloth. On one cubit, draw four doors without horse steps, and in the center, spread kusha grass and place the being there. If a bathing platform is not available, then mentally invite the five deities of the mandala into the vase, and wipe them with five symbols such as peacock feathers. Then spread kusha grass or white cloth there, place the being there, and hold the vases. To those who are attached to miserliness, may the one who completely destroys it, the one who performs immaculate deeds, the one whose mind is peaceful and without harm, grant you happiness. The guide who gathers beings on the path of liberation, and the one who shows all dharmas, may he grant you happiness. The teacher, the refuge of beings, for the benefit of all sentient beings, the one who possesses happiness, may he grant you happiness. The protector, who with loving kindness, constantly protects all these beings like a single child, may he grant you happiness. The one who wanders in samsara, the refuge of all sentient beings, the one who has become an island and a companion, may he grant you happiness. The teacher, the refuge of beings, with the gods including Indra, and all
