Vajra Shighram Vajraya Svaha! The essence of the northern gatekeeper Vajra Transmutation is: Om Matha Vajra Bajra Dhari Dhiri Dhuru Dhuru Sarva Vajra Kulam Eva Tartaya Svaha! Their mudras are the vajra hook, lasso, and iron chain, and the gesture of the bell itself. Thus, having bound the mantra and mudra, the deity to be accomplished is generated from the letter Hum, the chief Vajra Destroyer, holding a vajra and threatening gesture, and from the Hum in its heart, twelve wrathful deities are emanated. From that, the wisdom being and the deity are inseparable. Having bound the mantra and mudra, it is said in the Vajrapani empowerment that the practitioner... Or, on top of the previous location, invite the five wrathful deities of Trawa Ti, and the guardians of the directions, including the essence. The main deity in the center is Vajra Destroyer, with a blue-green body, holding a five-pronged vajra in his right hand, with one side missing from the crossed directions.

Think of the three samayas. For pacifying, draw the thirteen-spoked wheel on linen or cloth, and empower it with mantras and mudras. Or, for increasing, draw it on yellow cloth. Or, for subjugation, draw it on the lower garment of a woman. To accomplish purposes, draw it on cloth from a charnel ground, using bezoar, saffron, vermilion, or poison. Then bind the mantras and mudras of the thirteen wrathful deities. The method of drawing the wheel should be learned from the commentary. Alternatively, place the fifth mandala, the Vajrapani palace surrounded by ten messengers, in the center. Bind the mantras and mudras that will be explained later, and practice. Or, bind and practice with the mantras and mudras of the mandala surrounded by sixty-four female messengers, which will be explained later. Thus, the ritual of binding the mudras of the six mandalas is complete. Fifth, the ritual of averting obstacles for the six mandalas is explained. Averting obstacles: physical faults include the tongue not being able to pronounce the mantra in time, the hands not being able to form mudras, the feet not being able to sit in the lotus position or stand properly, and the eyes not being able to look at images, stupas, and deities. Verbal faults include lying, slander, idle talk, and delighting in harsh words. Mental faults include anger during recitation, excessive attachment to the five desirable qualities, discouragement and displeasure, fear and stinginess. When reciting vidya-mantras, if one dozes off or drools, or if interrupted by conversation, one should touch nearby objects and prostrate, then resume the recitation from the beginning. This will avert and subdue all obstacles and interruptions to the recitation. Having explained the averting of obstacles to recitation, the averting of obstacles to offerings is as follows: if offerings are made at three times of the day, obstacles will be averted. The averting of obstacles with substances is as follows: the vessels offered to the deities should be washed once a day. Old offerings such as flowers should be cleared away at three times of the day. Reading scriptures such as the Prajnaparamita, and making offerings to stupas and mandalas at three times of the day will avert all obstacles. The averting of obstacles for disciplining disciples is as follows: if the disciple is possessed by demons, afflicted by illness, or lax and careless, and if the body and mind...
