They abide in a common view. Paying homage to those who dwell in mountains and forests, medicines and trees, rivers and ponds, lakes and pools, and stupa sites, refers to those with differing views who go to those places and make vows and prayers. How shall we escape from this fearful situation of harm? Those who dwell thinking in this way refer to the gods of different views, speaking thus and praying to their own yidam. The Blessed One has already spoken. The time when darkness arises in the vast city is the second part. To see with perfectly pure eyes means to look at sentient beings with eyes of compassion. From "Then the Blessed One" up to "manifested miracles" is the explicit explanation of the sacred Dharma. Thereafter, the miracles of the Blessed One refer to transforming the four continents into hundreds of thousands of billions, and then transforming the incarnations into hundreds of thousands of billions. Manifesting miracles, manifesting miracles means appearing in whatever form is easiest to subdue. How do we know it is so? In the teachings of the Blessed One it says: Whatever is to be subdued by whatever means, that is what is shown, I pay homage to you, the elephant king of the teachers! The three thousand great thousand worlds refer to what the Blessed One said: There are three kinds of worlds: a thousand suns and moons, a thousand four continents with Mount Meru, from the four great kings up to the Brahma world is a thousandfold collection. That thousand worlds is two thousand intermediate worlds. Two thousand intermediate worlds are a thousand, which is the three thousand great thousand worlds. The worlds of gods, humans, and asuras are all convinced, referring to three kinds of miracles, namely the miracle of making the unbelieving believe, the miracle of making all rejoice, and the miracle of maturing faith with three kinds of miracles. The three thousand great thousand worlds, between gods and humans, all rejoice. Thereafter refers to, after the Blessed One made beings rejoice with miracles, the lord of the Saha world.
