The endowed is endowed with six perfections. The deceased is the one who has passed away. The Sangha of monks are the Shravakas. The accompanied is accompanied by Bodhisattvas. Body Excellent is Formidable. The place called Magadha is the central region. The one called King Ajatashatru. Why is that? In the past, Ajatashatru was born as a deer. Formidable was born into a lower caste in a secluded place. He shot and killed the deer born as Ajatashatru with an arrow. Due to the maturation of that karma, the king was born as an enemy of Formidable, hence the name Ajatashatru. In the region between Magadha, there was a king named Dharma-born, who had two daughters. King Formidable married the younger daughter. The elder daughter was said to be unable to find a husband in all the monasteries. Why is that? Even if she married, the daughter would kill her father when she had a son, so no one wanted her. The younger sister said, no matter who you marry, you can find a husband to come back. We two have the same appearance and shape. Send me to Formidable. The younger sister listened, and the elder sister disguised herself as the younger sister and married Formidable. She gave birth to a son, so he was called Ajatashatru. His father was King Formidable. He had a palace called Vaidurya Self-Born. The perfectly complete Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha resided there as a place of offering. The demon god became jealous and said to Formidable's son Ajatashatru, you and King Formidable, there is no good or bad between father and son. Ajatasatru peeled off the soles of his father's feet, dragged him through the unharvested rice fields, and before his father died, put him in a pit and hid him. After that, King Ajatasatru's mother sent a bag of food every day. After that, Devadatta also set up an iron stone machine above the city of Rajagriha. The Blessed One and his retinue of Shravakas went begging, and when they came to the middle of the city of Rajagriha, Devadatta cut the rope of the machine, and a heavy rain of stones fell. One of them hit the body of a Yaksha, and the Yaksha died and was reborn as a Deva. One stone hit the Blessed One's right toe, and blood flowed. After the bleeding, the people of the world said, "It is not true to say that the Blessed One's body is a Vajra body." The Blessed One said, "In the past, when I was born in a bad caste, I shot a deer, and this is the maturation of that karma." After that, on the arm of Ajatasatru's son, a boil bled. Ajatasatru sucked it and threw it away, covering it with soil. Ajatasatru's mother saw this and laughed. Ajatasatru said, "Mother has been crying all along, today mother is happy, why is she happy?" The mother said, "Before, you also had a boil on your hand, and King Suddhodana, fearing that you would faint if you saw the blood, drank it, and I laughed because I remembered that." After that, King Ajatasatru thought, "My father is such a kind person, but I have done such a bad thing." He felt remorse, took his father out of the pit, and served him.
