The mother holding the Udumbara flower. From jaṃ (Tibetan: ཛཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: जं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: jaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Tibetan seed syllable ཛཾ) in the north, the mother who blazes. Holding a green and blue lotus. The four wrathful mothers born from hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ). The wise should place them at the four doors. In the east is the Yama-destroying mother. White, holding a hammer. In the south is the Yama-staff mother. Yellow, holding a jewel staff-hammer. In the west is the death-lord subduing mother. Red, with a lotus garland. In the north is the Yama-fierce dispelling mother. Blue, holding a makara. This is said in the Sutra of the Bodhisattva Eliminating Obscurations. Meditating on the nine deities is the root wheel, the main one is as before. Also, all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Hearers, and Lords should be known as before. Or, if you believe in this way before. In the east, from aṃ (Tibetan: ཨཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: aṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Tibetan seed syllable ཨཾ) comes the hook mother. White, holding a hook garland. In the south, from vaṃ (Tibetan: བཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Tibetan seed syllable བཾ) comes the noose mother. Yellow, holding a noose and fan. In the west, from yaṃ (Tibetan: ཡཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: यं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: yaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Tibetan seed syllable ཡཾ) comes the fetter mother. Red, holding a fetter and ball. In the north, from jaṃ (Tibetan: ཛཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: जं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: jaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Tibetan seed syllable ཛཾ) comes the subduing mother. Green, holding a bell and tinkling garland. The four goddesses mentioned in the sutra surround the main deity. Also, there is no need for the assembly of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, etc. Whether meditating on the elaborate or concise, one should make offerings by considering them inseparable from the nature deity. Then, at the time of recitation, one should visualize that the light of the mantra in the heart of each deity gathers all the Buddhas and adorns the head with empowerments of different lineages. During the circumambulation, the remaining rituals should be known as before. Furthermore, reading the mantra in the form of letters means visualizing a blue hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) on the moon above a white lotus in the vase, surrounded by a garland of mantras, or visualizing hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) in four colors in the central direction. In the four corners, aṃ vaṃ saṃ jaṃ (Tibetan: ཨཾ་བཾ་སཾ་ཛཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अं वं सं जं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: aṃ vaṃ saṃ jaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Tibetan seed syllables ཨཾ་བཾ་སཾ་ཛཾ) in four colors, and each of the nine letters surrounded by a garland of mantras in different colors, and then recite. The remaining rituals should be known as before. Furthermore, reading by focusing on the mudra of the mantra means visualizing a precious stupa with one door, white, arising from bhrūṃ (Tibetan: བྷྲཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: भ्रूं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: bhrūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Tibetan seed syllable བྷྲཱུཾ) in the vase, and a white five-pronged vajra arising from hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) on the lotus and moon inside, together with a garland of mantras, and reciting as before. Or, inside the stupa in the vase, on the lotus and moon, a yellow wheel

Visualize a white five-pointed vajra on top of a four-spoked wheel, and on the spokes of the wheel, visualize the four syllables Aṃ (藏文,梵文天城体अं,梵文罗马拟音aṃ,汉语字面意思:ཨཾ་), Vaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体वं,梵文罗马拟音vaṃ,汉语字面意思:བཾ་), Saṃ (藏文,梵文天城体सं,梵文罗马拟音saṃ,汉语字面意思:སཾ་), and Jaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体जं,梵文罗马拟音jaṃ,汉语字面意思:ཛཾ་). Visualize Hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体हूं,梵文罗马拟音hūṃ,汉语字面意思:ཧཱུཾ་) at the center of the vajra. Visualize each of these as being individually surrounded by a garland of mantras, and then recite. Alternatively, after visualizing in the same way, focus on a white umbrella with a garland of mantras on top of the vajra, and then recite. The remaining ritual is as before. To recite focusing on the body of the vidyā-mantra: Visualize the vase as a stupa as before, and on top of the lotus and moon, visualize the white primordial Buddha arising from the letter A, and then recite. This can be with the mudrā of teaching the Dharma, or with the palms joined at the heart, or holding a vajra and bell. You can also believe the mandala to be a wheel, but the assembly of deities surrounding the Buddha first is as before, as desired. If you rely on the vase and recite in the manner of secret mantra, it is only these three ways. If you recite in the manner of secret mantra syllables, then on the vase and the lotus and moon, visualize the white syllable Oṃ (藏文,梵文天城体ओं,梵文罗马拟音oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) surrounded by a white mantra garland, and then recite. Alternatively, the five syllables of Oṃ (藏文,梵文天城体ओं,梵文罗马拟音oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) surrounded by Aṃ (藏文,梵文天城体अं,梵文罗马拟音aṃ,汉语字面意思:ཨཾ་), Vaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体वं,梵文罗马拟音vaṃ,汉语字面意思:བཾ་), Saṃ (藏文,梵文天城体सं,梵文罗马拟音saṃ,汉语字面意思:སཾ་), and Jaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体जं,梵文罗马拟音jaṃ,汉语字面意思:ཛཾ་), or the five syllables surrounded by four Hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体हूं,梵文罗马拟音hūṃ,汉语字面意思:ཧཱུཾ་) syllables, or visualize the appearance of the nine syllables beginning with Aṃ (藏文,梵文天城体अं,梵文罗马拟音aṃ,汉语字面意思:ཨཾ་) surrounded by a white mantra garland, and then recite. To focus on the secret mantra mudrā, again visualize the vase as a stupa as before, and inside it, on top of the lotus and moon, visualize a wheel with O, surrounded by a multitude of syllables, or visualize the mudrās of the five families in this way, or focus on the seed syllables and mantras based on the four mothers and nine deities, and then recite. To recite in the manner of secret mantra based on the body, visualize the vase as a stupa, and visualize the white Vairocana, with one face and two arms, holding the supreme mudrā of enlightenment, or with one face and four arms, two arms holding the supreme mudrā of enlightenment, and two arms holding the mudrā of teaching the Dharma. Or with four faces and eight arms, and also eight feet, holding the supreme mudrā of enlightenment and in the posture of a bodhisattva. Thus, focusing on the body and mantra, and reciting, is the three ways of focusing on the body of a single hero. The secret mantra way of the mandala
