It is called wonderful because it shows the wonders of the rare. In this, by combining the essence and mudras of the various worldly gods, it also shows the wonders of the rare. Because it is particularly superior to them, it is called supreme. For the sake of future sentient beings with inferior practice and dull minds, the great tantra of the Wrathful Victorious One, the twelve thousand verses, and the profound and vast scripture containing a thousand shlokas, cannot be practiced through the three wisdoms, so from that, it is collected into a small number of sutras. In order to make sentient beings happy and enter into it, the ritual of the Wrathful Victorious One's tantra is briefly summarized and explained. Thus it is said. Among them, this mandala. From "this mandala" to "many deities," it is the meaning of speaking separately. Among them, "this mandala" refers to the mandala of this tantra itself, or the meaning of the mandala of the Wrathful Victorious One. What kind of mandala is it? It is said: "Bestowing all attainments." Thus it is said. Then, will merely drawing the mandala bestow attainments? No, as it is said, after drawing the mandala, inviting it in this way and practicing it properly, it will bestow attainments. Not only that, but it also shakes the three realms. Thus it is said. At the time of practicing attainments, the underworld, the human world, and the heavenly world, all three realms are shaken. These are the qualities of the mandala. The so-called "many deities" means that this mandala is called the mandala of many deities. Why is it called many deities? Because many deities appear in this mandala, therefore many deities are mentioned. In the mandala itself, the drawing of the vajra mudra is few, but the drawing of the deities is many, therefore a small amount of recitation and many deities are mentioned. Therefore, it is called the mandala of many deities. That deity is also said to be a manifestation of wisdom for the sake of subduing sentient beings.

Do. In short, this mandala, where will the place where it can be accomplished be? From this sentence to, where the mind is happy, there the mandala should be well made. In between, the meaning of examining the ground is explained. Among them, in short, this mandala, where will this place be accomplished? This sentence means that no matter when, where to build the mandala to be accomplished, the mantra practitioner should first examine the ground of the mandala. Therefore, it is said that the mantra practitioner should first examine its place. As it is said. Among them, in short, refers to any time, refers to all places where siddhis are accomplished. Among them, the so-called single tree refers to large trees, such as Ashvattha, etc., and in Tibet, it refers to cedar trees, etc. It refers to trees that grow alone like that. It also refers to dry trees, without inauspicious faults, not mixed with the leaves of other trees, not shaded by the shadows of other trees in the morning, growing alone, with lush leaves and a round top. The so-called four-way intersection refers to a crossroads like a normal main road. The so-called two banks refer to practicing on either bank of the river flowing from this shore to the other. Another explanation is that it refers to the confluence of two rivers. That is, one should abide and practice at the confluence near the banks flowing from the left and right sides. Dense, empty, old roadside, refers to a dense forest, a forest that people cannot pass through. It also refers to a dense place, where one abides and practices. In such places, it also refers to places where there are no people. One also practices and abides at the four-way intersections along the old roads. The place of the great god is also acceptable, which means that the abode of Mahadeva is also acceptable. The old abodes that were previously offered are also acceptable, and one should practice and abide in those places. Especially in a pure land, where the mind is happy, for those places mentioned by the names of places, especially in a pure land without defilement, where the mantra practitioner's mind is happy and joyful, there one should draw the mandala. From then on
