These are afflictions such as ignorance. Karma is the actions of body, speech, and mind, such as temporary good and non-good. Ultimately, although these things have no substance, in conventional truth, they appear to arise from karma and causes. Like an image, it means that it appears in conventional truth, and it only appears like an image without being examined. If the image is examined through reason and scripture, it cannot be established, just as its existence cannot be proven. The Tathagata's realization of enlightenment means that these dharmas were also realized and known by the past Tathagatas in this way. These also arise interdependently, continuously, and are established separately, which means that where it is said to be like an image, if it is like an image, then the image cannot arise without a form, will it be interrupted? It is not interrupted like an image, even if the previous moment of affliction disappears, the karma and life produced by affliction will also produce results. It is not that it cannot arise without a form like an image, but it arises interdependently and continuously. Whatever arises from causes and conditions is like an image, which means that the dharmas that arise from such causes and conditions are unobservable and not ultimately existent, for example, like an image. Because it arises from dependent origination, it is said that whatever is a god is me, and whatever is me is a god. In this way, ultimately, dharma does not exist, but in conventional truth, from dependent origination, all dharmas appear in conventional truth. Therefore, the god is born from the cause of me, and I am born from the cause of the god, so it is said that I am born. Whatever is a god is me, refers to the nature of the hundred-syllable mantra (Tibetan: ཨཾ, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, literal meaning: Am), which resides in the heart, because it arises from their thoughts. Whatever is me is a god, refers to that essence transforming me into the body of perfect Buddhahood. Similarly, for the body, producing the image of the body, refers to the fact that it arises from mutual causes and conditions coming together, thereby transforming my image into the body of perfect Buddhahood.

Oṃ. Secret Lord, it is understood through the cause of the Dharma. Understanding or dependence is understood through the cause of understanding, which means that what is a deity is me, and what is me is a deity. This very statement is taught by other scriptures. Dharma refers to the syllable Aṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:अं,梵文罗马拟音:aṃ,汉语字面意思:ཨཾ་). Understanding refers to the body of complete enlightenment. Through the cause of letters, one becomes completely enlightened. After becoming completely enlightened, one should again contemplate the letter in the heart, that is, one arises from the cause of one, and that is how it depends. Because of the emptiness of nature, the two act on each other and abide in karma. This means that the two, letters and forms, do not perform the action of generating letters and forms from the emptiness of nature. Forms also do not perform the action of generating letters. Secret Lord, how to generate the form of mind in the mind, etc., is to show that the mantra syllables residing in the lunar mandala arise in the mind, so the cause of how it arises from the mind is explained. Thus, Secret Lord, if one thinks of white, yellow, or red in the mind, the mind will become attached to it. If one contemplates the mandala of water, the mandala of the great sovereign, and the mandala of fire, the mind will also change accordingly. By contemplating in this way, one can also accomplish the meaning accordingly. With the mind that has truly transformed into the mandala of the great sovereign, etc., one can accomplish the actions of the great sovereign, etc. Therefore, it is said as follows: Secret Lord, after contemplating the mandala in the mind, if it is placed on a plague victim, beings will be liberated from the plague, and immediately demons will not be able to harm them. This means that if one is afflicted by fever, then on the head of the patient, the mandala of water is proclaimed as it is, imagining the vase upside down, from which white nectar water arises, spreading from the top of the patient's head, both inside and out, all the way to the heels. At this time, imagine all the plagues coming out of his face. If done two or three times in this way, one will be liberated from the plague, without any doubt. Likewise, the great sovereign.
