The mudrā of the activity of the earth, and with these essences, one will hook, introduce, bind, and control them in that very place. Vajra aṅkuśa jaḥ (བཛྲ་ཨཾ་གུ་ཤ་ཛཿ), Vajra pāśa hūṃ (བཛྲ་པཱ་ཤ་ཧཱུཾ), Vajra sphoṭa vaṃ (བཛྲ་སྥོ་ཊ་བཾ), Vajra ghaṇḍe hoḥ (བཛྲ་གྷཎྜེ་ཧོཿ). The activity mudrā of these is: The binding of the finger as a hook is: From the little finger, it is a great hook. The elbow is knotted, two fingers are rings. The two backs are also pressed down. Then, from the Vajra Samaya mudrā of the Bhagavan Vajra Dharma, with the Vajra binding, the two thumbs are aligned, and the two index fingers are bent like a lotus, and one should look with this called Vajra Dharma dṛ́śya (བཛྲ་དྷརྨ་དྲྀ་ཤྱ). Having seen that Wisdom Being, one should meditate thoroughly on one's own body. Again, that very Samaya mudrā, and by reciting Jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ (ཛཿ་ཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོཿ), one will hook, introduce, bind, and control them on one's own body. By reciting Samaya stvaṃ (ས་མ་ཡ་སྟྭཾ), after the moon has arisen in the back, one recites Samaya stvaṃ ahaṃ (ས་མ་ཡ་སྟྭཾ་ཨ་ཧཾ). There, one meditates on oneself as the body of the Being. The essence called Vajra Dharma (བཛྲ་དྷརྨ), and the mantra called Oṃ Vajra Dharma hrīḥ (ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་དྷརྨ་ཧྲཱིཿ) should also be recited. Then, having visualized a vajra on the tongue, one should make the Dharma mudrā called Sarva kāri (སརྦ་ཀཱ་རི). Then, having visualized various vajras on the moon in the heart, one should make the activity mudrā. Having made the vajra fist and danced, with the left vajra fist, holding the lotus stem, and with the right hand making the gesture of opening the lotus, this is the activity mudrā. Then, making the great mudrā, one should visualize the vajra of the Being in one's own heart, and meditate on the body color, hand implements, posture, etc., as they are. When making the Samaya mudrā, one should recite Surata stvaṃ (སུར་ཏ་སྟྭཾ). Then, having made the mudrā of gathering the vajras on one's own body, reciting Jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ (ཛཿ་ཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོཿ), with a mind that is well joined, one should introduce all the Buddhas. Then, with this practice, one should seal them with their own samaya, and Dharma activity, and the great mudrā. Having made the Samaya mudrā of the Vajra realm, reciting Vajra dhātu dṛ́śya jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ (བཛྲ་དྷཱ་ཏུ་དྲྀ་ཤྱ་ཛཿ་ཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོཿ), Samaya stvaṃ samaya stvaṃ ahaṃ (ས་མ་ཡ་སྟྭཾ་ས་མ་ཡ་སྟྭཾ་ཨ་ཧཾ). One should recite the mantra of the Bhagavan Vairochana three times. Likewise, one should form the mudras of Akshobhya, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, and Amoghasiddhi, and recite: VAJRA DHĀTU DRISHYA JAH HUM VAM HOH. Samaya Tvam, Samaya Tvam Aham. One should recite the general essence of Vajradhatu, called "Vajradhatu," three times. OM VAJRA SATTVA HUM. This is the essence of Akshobhya. OM VAJRA RATNA TRAM. This is the essence of Ratnasambhava. OM VAJRA DHARMA HRIH. This is the essence of Amitabha. OM VAJRA KARMA AH. One should also recite the essence of Amoghasiddhi three times. The samaya mudras of these are: Make like a vajra knot, and raise the middle fingers together like sprouts. The middle fingers are placed inward, and it is said to be the mudra of the second Buddha. The middle fingers are like jewels, and the middle fingers are bent like lotuses. The mudra of the five Buddhas is, likewise, to bend two fingers. When forming the samaya mudra of the Tathagatas, one should recite: Samaya Tvam. One should place the dharma mudra on the tongues of the Tathagatas, called Vajra Jnana, which is the mudra of the Buddhas. As before, visualize a vajra on the tongue and apply it. Then, the mudra of action is formed by: Firmly clenching the vajra fist, placing it equally and dividing it into two. Two vajra mudras are formed, and then it is thoroughly explained how to form them. The vajra finger of the left hand should be raised inside the right hand. It is the great mudra of supreme enlightenment, which is the Buddha giving enlightenment. The earth-touching mudra of Akshobhya, and the supreme giving mudra of Ratnasambhava. The supreme samadhi of Amitayus, and the fearlessness-giving mudra that does not eat demons. Then, to form the great mudra, one should visualize Vajrasattva in the heart. The Bhagavan Vairochana is white in color, sitting on a lion throne in vajra posture, holding a five-pronged vajra with the mudra of supreme enlightenment, possessing the light of the sun, wearing silk upper and lower garments, and adorned with a jewel crown and silk streamers.
